READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS
Installation
Please refer to this manual for the installation of the speaker.
Keep the speaker clean, using a hair dryer or a cloth to remove dust. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
Even with regard to a speaker designed for fire alarm, do not install the speaker near a heat source.
Avoid exposure to rain or moisture.
In the case of long period of storage prior to installation, hold the speaker in protected environment.

Once the speaker is connected to the 70 V /100 V line, there is a risk of electric shock.
The installation must be performed by qualified personnel. Always insulate connector
lugs, or the unused cable ends.

Thank you for the purchase of the AUDIOPOLE POLE-116ENP. In addition to audio qualities, this
ceiling speaker meets the requirements of the standard CE EN 54-24 in safety message for voice alarm
systems for the detection and fire alarm systems.
The baffle and the grille are made up of steel and are fixed together by an epoxy glue. Fire dome is
made up of 5VB plastic, allowing fire of not be deployed in situations where there is a need to evacuate.
The speaker can easily be mounted in the ceiling with its spring clips.
A multi points output transformer allows an optimal fit for different powers and improves the sound
quality by equalization effect .
POLE-116ENP is ideal for public areas, offices, airports, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, schools,
etc., where sound quality and reliability are required.

1. Be sure to note the following polarities when multiple speakers are
used in the same location. Incorrect connections could result in no
bass output or decreased volume.
2. Connect the correct (+) and (COM) polarity terminal as per mark on
the block.

Impedance Selection
The speaker comes with a factory wiring connected to the value 20 W
(100 V) of the transformer.
A lower value of the power can be set using the other available
terminals. Connection points are shown on the plate of the transformer
(Attention, 70 V and 100 V connections are not identical).
When several speakers are used, they must be connected in parallel
and their cumulative power must be less than the nominal power of the
amplifier.
Installation
1 Drill a round hole into the ceiling in accordance with the ceiling drilling picture on the attached
cover in the inner box.

2 – Remove the dome of the chassis by unscrewing the screws next to each spring clip and then select
the required power by modifying if necessary the transformer connections.

3 Pass the input cables through the hole in the dome by drilling the plastic protection cap, then
connect them to the terminal block located on the chassis.
Reassemble the dome on the frame, taking care not to pinch the cables and tighten the screws
securely.
Raise the spring clips and insert the speaker in the ceiling.

4 Position the speaker inside the hole of the ceiling. Once the ceiling set, pull down the spring clips.
Then check the proper stowage of the speaker.

5 – To remove the speaker, lift the spring clips, and then let the speaker while holding it by the front.

Conditions
1. The unit has been installed and implemented by observing the safety instructions in this operating manual.
2. The device was not diverted from its destination, either voluntary or accidental, and suffered no
deterioration or modification other than those described here or explicitly authorized by AUDIOPOLE.
3. All modifications or repairs have been carried out by an authorized service station.
4. The defective product must be returned with the dealer who made the sale or to an authorized service
station with proof of purchase.
5. The device was properly packaged to avoid damage in transport.
The POLE 116ENP is warranted parts and labor against any manufacturing defects for a period of two years
from the date of purchase by the first user.
