5. HELPFUL TIPS
Types of bread
Sliced bread is most suitable for this
toaster. If you use any other type of bread,
bear in mind the following tips:
Cut the bread into regular slices of
equal thickness.
Do not toast different types of bread, or
slices of different thickness at the same
time.
Do not spread butter, oil or similar onto
the bread before toasting it.
Lighter/darker selector button:
You can select how brown you want your
toast by setting the lighter/darker selector
button between 1 and 7. The higher the
number, the browner the toast.
Use positions 1 and 2 for very light toast.
Use positions 3 to 5 for medium brown
toast.
Use positions 6 to 7 for dark brown toast.
When selecting how brown you want your
toast, bear in mind that dry bread and
thicker slices will be toasted before fresh
bread and/or thicker slices. Consequently,
the position you select will vary according
to type of bread, quality of bread and the
thickness of the slices.
7. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT
DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND
ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
At the end of its working
life, the product must not be
disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special

recovered to obtain significant savings in
energy and resources.
To remind you that you must collaborate
with a selective collection scheme, the
symbol shown appears on the product
warning you not to dispose of it in
traditional refuse containers.
For further information, contact your local
authority or the shop where you bought the
product.
6. CLEANING
Leave the toaster to cool before
cleaning it.
Remove the appliance from its
connector base.
Remove the crumb tray, (8) carefully
sliding it out of the toaster
(Fig. 8) and
empty the crumbs. Clean it and put it
back.
Clean the stainless steel surface of the
toaster with a damp cloth. Do not rinse
the toaster under the tap. Do not use
abrasive cleaning agents, degreasers,
alcohol, etc., to clean the toaster.
Dry all components well before putting
the toaster away or using it again.
