1. Getting Started

Getting to know your Band

Check that the box contents are complete. The box should contain 1 Band, 1 charging cradle, 1 charging cable, and 1

user guide.

Activating your Band

To activate your Band, charge it by connecting the charging cradle to a phone charger,

smart socket, or the USB port on the computer. Attach your Band firmly to the metal

contacts on the charging cradle until the following icon appears

.

You do not need to turn you Band on or off. Charge the battery the first time you

use the Band.

The battery icon will blink if the battery level is low. Charge your Band promptly.

Wearing your Band

To achieve more accurate heart rate readings, attach your Band firmly to

your wrist at a distance of 2 cm to 3 cm from the wrist bone.

Downloading Huawei Wear

1. Make sure your phone is connected to the Internet using mobile data or Wi-Fi.

2. Use your phone to scan the following QR code, or search for Huawei Wear in the Google Play Store or Apple

App Store. Download and install the Huawei Wear app, and connect your Band to your phone.

Connecting your Band to your phone

1. Pairing your Band with your phone for the first time

To pair your Band with your phone, open the Huawei Wear app, touch

Pair , then select

Touch

on your Band and confirm the connection. Your Band is now

paired with your phone.

2. Unpairing your Band with your phone

To unpair your Band with your phone, open the Huawei Wear app, touch Device managerment , select

HUAWEI band A2-XXX , then swipe left, and touch

.

Your phone needs to be running Android 4.4 or later, or iOS 8.0 or later. Pair your Band with your phone

through the Huawei Wear app. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Do not search for your Band

directly on the Bluetooth screen on your phone. Do not charge your Band during connection.

Gestures

Touch and swipe the screen on your Band following the onscreen prompts.

Swipe up or down: Switch screens.

Touch the screen: Confirm.

Touch

: Return to the previous screen.

Touch and hold the screen:

Exit the message screen, ret

urn to the home screen.

2. Fitness and Sleep Data

Your Band tracks your fitness and sleep data in real time. Touch the home screen to view your daily step count,

calories burnt, and sleep data.

Sleep data is recorded from 20:00 of the current day to 20:00 of the next day.

3. Fitness Tracking

You can start, pause, and end a workout on your Band. You can also view

the workout statistics on both your Band and the Huawei Wear app (after

syncing).

Your Band will monitor your heart rate throughout the day if you enable

fitness tracking mode. Disable fitness tracking after finishing a workout.

4. Heart Rate Monitoring

On the heart rate monitoring screen, touch to start continuous heart rate

monitoring. Touch again to exit the continuous heart rate monitoring.

During continuous heart rate monitoring, your Band will display your heart rate

status at the intervals set in the Huawei Wear app.

The accuracy of heart rate data is affected by a number of factors such as how

tightly you are

wearing your Band, your body temperature, and also the ambient

temperature. Heart rate data cannot be used for medical purposes.

You can set a maximum heart rate and check the detailed statistics for each heart rate interval in Huawei Wear.

5. Notifications

Incoming calls

Your Band will vibrate when there is an incoming call.

To stop your band from vibrating, touch the screen.

To reject the call, swipe up on the screen.

If you enable

in Huawei Wear, your Band will not notify you when there is

an incoming call.

Messages

Your Band will vibrate when you receive a new message on your phone.

To view the message, touch the screen on the Band.

To enable message notifications, you need to enable the notification

function on your phone and toggle on

Notifications management

in

Huawei Wear for Android phones and

Message alerts

for iPhones.

Touch and hold the screen to exit the message screen and return to

the home screen.

Other notifications

Touch , your Band will notify you again 10 minutes later.

Workout distance reminder is only available in workout mode.

6. Others

Locating your phone

To locate your phone, swipe up or down on the Band screen until the icon on the right is displayed.

. Your phone will respond to your band.

To use this feature, make sure that your Band is connected to your phone over Bluetooth.

7. Water Resistance

Your Band supports IP67 water and dust resistance. You can wear your Band when you are washing your hands,

in the rain, taking a cold shower, or washing your car.

Do not use the Band during swimming, hot showers, diving, and scuba diving.

Water and dust resistance might be affected if your Band is dropped or subjected to external impacts.

Your Band is made from skin-friendly materials which are not harmful to the body. If you experience skin

irritation when wearing the Band, take it off and consult a doctor.

8. Safety Information



Do not use this device in areas where the use of wireless devices is prohibited. It may interfere with other devices

or present other hazards.



Comply with all regulations in hospitals and health care facilities. Turn this device off if the use of wireless devices is

prohibited.



Some wireless devices may interfere with implantable medical devices and other medical equipment, such as

pacemakers, cochlear implants, and hearing aids. Consult the manufacturer of your medical equipment for more

information.



Keep this device at a minimum distance of 15 cm from implantable medical devices (such as pacemakers and

cochlear implants).

Do not use this device at gas stations or in areas containing flammable or explosive substances. Always follow

all warning symbols and instructions. Using this device in or near areas that contain oil, chemicals, and other

flammable and explosive substances may cause an explosion or fire.



Do not store or transport this device or its accessories in containers with flammable liquids, gases, or explosives.



Observe all local traffic laws and regulations while using this device. Do not use this device while driving.



Concentrate on driving. Your first responsibility is to drive safely.



Wireless signals may interfere with vehicle electrical systems. For more information, consult your vehicle

manufacturer.



Wireless devices may interfere with flight control systems. Comply with all airline regulations and do not use this

device if the use of wireless devices is prohibited.



Use and store the Band at a temperature of -20°C to +50°C. The relative humidity should not exceed 85%.



Do not place the device near sources of heat or naked flames, such as electrical heaters, microwaves, ovens,

boilers, stoves, and candles.



Some people may be allergic to plastic, leather, synthetic fibers, or other materials. If you experience a rash or

inflammation after prolonged contact with the device, discontinue use and consult a physician.



Do not allow children or pets to bite or chew the device or its accessories. Doing so may damage the device or

cause an explosion.



This device and its accessories may contain some small components that present a choking hazard. Keep the

device and its accessories out of the reach of children to prevent injury or accidental damage.



This device is not a toy. Children should only use the device when supervised by an adult.



Using a non-standard or incompatible power supply, charger, or battery may cause a fire, explosion, or other

hazards.



This device has a built-in, non-removable battery. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself, otherwise you

may damage the battery or device. To replace the battery, take the device to an authorized service center.



If the battery is depleted, charge it within 30 days. Otherwise, the battery may fail.



Keep the device and its accessories dry. Do not attempt to dry it with an external heat source, such as a microwave

oven or hair dryer.



Do not expose the device or its accessories to strong impacts or vibrations.



Before you clean or service the device, close all applications and disconnect all cables.



Do not use any strong chemicals, detergents, or other chemical agents. Use a clean, soft, and dry cloth to clean

Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device and its accessories. Doing so will void the warranty. In case of

damage, contact an authorized service center for assistance.



The Band has an IP67 water resistance rating. It can be exposed to cold water for short periods, but it must not be

submerged in water (especially warm water) for long periods or used when swimming or taking a shower.



If the device comes with a light-colored strap, avoid contact with dark-colored clothing to prevent discoloration.



Wipe the Band dry after it comes into contact with water or sweat.



Clean the Band regularly using a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any organic solvents.



Before charging the Band, ensure that the Band and charging cradle are clean and dry.



This product comes with a built-in battery. If you do not plan to use the Band for an extended period, place it in a

cool, dry location.



If the Band fails to charge, wipe the charging contacts using a soft cloth, and then place the Band back onto the

charging cradle.

9. Disposal and Recycling Information

The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on your product, battery, literature or packaging reminds you

that all electronic products and batteries must be taken to separate waste collection points at the end

of their working lives; they must not be disposed of in the normal waste stream with household

garbage. It is the responsibility of the user to dispose of the equipment using a designated collection

point or service for separate recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and

batteries according to local laws.

Proper collection and recycling of your equipment helps ensure electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) waste is

recycled in a manner that conserves valuable materials and protects human health and the environment, improper

handling, accidental breakage, damage, and/or improper recycling at the end of its life may be harmful for health and

It is recommended that the following accessories should be used:

The product software version is 1.0.17. Software updates will be released by the manufacturer to fix bugs or enhance

functions after the product has been released. All software versions released by the manufacturer have been verified

and are still compliant with the related rules.

All RF parameters (for example, frequency range and output power) are not accessible to the user, and cannot be

changed by the user.
