1 Place the appliance on a flat, stable
surface where it cannot fall.
2 Open the door of the appliance.
3 Place the half round rack or the round
rack when you want to prepare more
food.
Note: the round rack can only be used
when the door is left open and with an
engaged rotation motor.
4 Place the food on the rack.
5 When you want to bake food with a
closed door, turn the half round rack
inside the appliance and close the door.
Otherwise leave the door open.
Tip:
Cover an open door with aluminium foil to
prevent that the door will be polluted with
fat and/or other juices from the food when
it is grilled or toasted.
6 Put the plug in an earthed wall socket.
7 According your wishes switch on the
upper heating element, the lower
heating element and/or the rotating
motor.
8 Turn the timer knob to the desired time.
The power indicator will light up and the
appliance will start with the process.
9 If you want to stop the process before
the adjusted time has passed, you can
turn the timer knob to 0.
10 When the adjusted time has passed,
the appliance will give an audible signal
and switch off the heating elements and
the rotating motor (when engaged).
11 When closed, open the glass door.
12 Take the food from the rack.
13 Clean the appliance thoroughly after
use (see ‘Maintenance and cleaning’).
• Never allow the power cord to hang
over the edge of the draining board,
worktop or table.
• Always make sure the power cord has
been fully unwound.
• Never move the appliance when it is
switched on or is still hot. Before you
move the appliance, switch it off and
wait until it has cooled down.
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
• Use an earthed wall socket.
• When necessary, use an earthed
extension lead of a suitable diameter
and make sure water cannot enter the
contact plugs of the appliance and the
extension cord.
• Never use the appliance in a humid
room.
• The appliance must be able to
dissipate its heat to avoid a risk of fire.
Make sure that the appliance has
sufficient space around it, and does
not come into contact with flammable
materials. The appliance must not be
covered when it is still hot.
• Always remove the plug from the wall
socket after use.
• Make sure your hands are dry when
you touch the appliance, the power
cord or the plug.
• Switch off the appliance and remove
the plug from the wall socket in the
event of a malfunction during use,
before cleaning the appliance, before
fitting or removing an accessory and
before storing the appliance after use.
• Never leave the appliance unattended
when in use.
• Do not use the appliance near another
heat source.
• Keep the appliance away from
inflammable materials, such as
curtains, towels or paper.
• The appliance may emit a little smoke
and a characteristic smell when you
switch it on for the first time. This is
normal and will soon stop. Make sure
the appliance has sufficient
ventilation.
• The appliance’s housing will become
hot.
