OPERATION MANUAL AND INSTRUCTIONS
EN
• This will start the gas recovery phase.
• After the recovery phase has been completed, the station will automatically check for refrigerant gas pockets in the A/C system,
and the display will show the recovered amount of refrigerant gas.
Please note that the station automatically lls the amount of refrigerant gas remaining in the service pipes (100 g).
- Draining old oil:
• After this test, the station will automatically drain old oil into its tank (see gure 4).
• If pressure increases during the test, the station will automatically recover any refrigerant gas pockets.
- Vacuum and tightness test:
• The Vacuum phase will start. The display will show the time remaining to the end of this operation.
• After the set time has elapsed, the station will test tightness through a vacuometer, for the preset time.
If, during the tightness test, a leak should occur, the station will beep persistently and interrupt the phase.
- Feeding fresh oil:
• If no leaks are shown in the system, the preset ‘Feeding fresh oil’ phase will be performed.
- Feeding refrigerant gas:
• The car circuit is lled with 10% of the required amount of gas. The car system is then tested for tightness for 2 minutes – if no
leaks are detected in the system, the gas thus fed is recovered, and the total amount of the refrigerant gas required for the car
is automatically fed; the display will show the amount of gas required to reach the set charging value.
The station will beep repeatedly, to indicate that the phase has been completed.
If, during the pressure testing phase, a leak is detected in the system, the station will show the message “system leak” and stop.
After the refrigerant gas lling phase has been completed, the working pressure of the A/C system should be monitored.
Please note that pressing the key will interrupt all operations.
SETUP
- Setting date and time: only for optional printer.
- Charging storage tank: when the refrigerant gas level is insufcient for charging, the station will beep and show a message
indicating that the storage tank needs to be lled. Charge the tank as follows:
• Connect to an external cylinder containing the same refrigerant gas as the one used (use the pipe and, if necessary,
the adapter supplied with the cylinder); then connect to the high-pressure tting (red) of the charging station.
If the cylinder being used has one valve (blue), it should be turned upside down, so that only the refrigerant liquid
can be transferred.
• Open the cylinder valve and the high-pressure valve (red).
• Press the key to select the -SETUP- function; press the key
• Press the key to select the –CHARGING TANK (tank icon)- function; press the key
• Set the amount of refrigerant gas to be recharged by pressing the keys; press the key
• As soon as the set quantity is reached, the phase stops automatically and returns to display the quantity of gas present in the
tank.
• Close the external cylinder valve.
• Disconnect the external cylinder.
• Recover the refrigerant gas from the pipe.
• Close the high pressure valve.
