sure one of the rear levelinglegs is properly

Do not use ovencleaners. Nocommercial

Before self-cleaning the oven, remove
broiler pan, oven racks and other utensils

of the oven racks or possible damage to

Wipe up excessive spitlovers, especially

It is normalfor the cooktop to become hot

Thecooking surfaceis equippedwitha dual

NEVERallow a pan to boil dry. This

NEVER touch cooktop until it has

After Cooking
Clean up messy spills as soon as

Temperatures may be unsafe for

Make sure the surfaceand the pan bot-
tom are clean before turning on to pre-

salt orfatsonthecooking area.Wipethe
cooktop surface with a clean cloth or
paper towel before using.
Neverusea soileddishclothorspongeto
clean the cooktop surface. A film will
remainwhich may cause stains on the
cookingsurface afterthearea isheated.
Whenan element ison, it will cycleon

CONVECTBAKING
(SELECT MODELS)
Asa generalrule, when convection
baking, set the oven temperature
25° F lower than the conventional
recipe or prepared mix directions.
Bakingtimewill bethesametoafew
minutes lessthan directions.
To recall the set temperature during
preheatpressthe BAKE pad.
To change oven temperature during
cooking, press the BAKE pad and the
appropriatenumber pads.
Allow4-8 minutesfor the upperoven to
preheat. Allow 10-16 minutes for the
lowerovento preheat,
I Allow at least 1h-inch between the
baking pan or casserole and the top
elementin theupperoven.Loaf,angel
foodorbundtpansarenotrecommended

HI broil isused for most broiling. Use
LO broil when broiling longer cooking
foodstoallowthemto cooktowelldone
stage withoutexcessive browning.

kitchen should be well ventilated to
help eliminate normal odors associ-

It is normalforflare-ups, smokingor
flamingtooccurduringcleaningifthe
oven is heavilysoiled. It is betterto
clean theoven regularly ratherthan
towait untilthereisaheavybuildupof
soil.
Wipe upexcess greaseor spillovers
to prevent flare-ups. For ease in
cleaning, the bake element in the
upper or lower oven can be lifted
slightly (1to 11/2inches).
Wipe up sugary and acid spillovers
such as sweet potatoes, tomato or
milk-based sauces prior to a self-
cleancycle. Porcelainenamelisacid
resistant, not acid proof and may
discolor if spills are not wiped up
before a self-cleancycle.
A whitediscolorationmayappear af-
ter cleaning if acid or sugary foods
are not wiped up before the clean
cycle. This discoloration is normal
and will NOTaffect performance.

To REPLACEOVEN LIGHT BULB:
1. When oven is cool, use fingertips to
graspedgeofbulb cover,Pulloutand
remove.

Carefully remove old bulb by pulling
straight out of ceramicbase.
Toavoiddamagingor decreasingthe
life of the new bulb,do not touch the
bulb with bare hands or fingers. Hold
with a clothor paper towel,Pushnew
bulb prongsstraight into smallholes
of ceramicbase.
4. Replace bulb cover by snappinginto
place.
5, Reconnectpowertothe range.Reset
clock.
