Phillips 97718 is a Weep Screed GZ that provides a straight and true screed surface at the foundation base of stucco walls. This galvanized steel product is available in 1/2" and 7/8” grounds to control stucco thickness. It is installed at the foundation plate line of exterior plaster walls if the walls are of stud framework and is required by the Uniform Building Code. The screed allows trapped water to drain to the exterior of the building, preventing moisture damage to the structure. Weep Screed is easy to install and provides a strong, straight edge stop for stucco at sill plate line.
