PRODUCT MAINTENANCE:
1. To clean the outside of the lamp, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use
clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the shade and surface of the lamp.
2. To clean the inside of the xture, rst disconnect power to the xture by turning
off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or
slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the inside
shade and interior surface of the xture.
3. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry
soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Carefully unpack the xture; lay out all parts on a clean surface.
2. Turn off power at main fuse box.
3. Install universal crossbar (4) to junction box (1) with 2 mounting screws (6)
supplied.
4. Fasten open end of ground wire (bare copper or green wire) to ground wire of
junction box (1).
5. Connect black wire of power supply to black wire of sconce and white wire of
power supply to the white wire of sconce.
NOTE: All wire connections should be made with wire nuts (2) or marrettes (included)
and pushed back into junction box (1). See Figure 1.
5. Mounting canopy (7) of sconce over the universal crossbar (4). Secure with 2 side
screws (5).

2. Slip opal glass shade (8) over socket, secure glass by tightening socket ring tool (9)
using socket wrench (10) provided. Do not over tighten!
