JHS Pedals 3 Series Flanger Pedal User manual

  • Hello! I have reviewed the user manual for the JHS 3 Series Flanger. This document provides information about the pedal's controls, including blend, rate, intensity, and tape mode, along with details on its input/output jacks and power requirements. I'm ready to answer your questions about how to use this device described in the manual.
  • What does the BLEND control do?
What does the RATE control do?
What is the purpose of the TAPE toggle?
CONTROLS
BLEND - This control blends in the flanger eect over your clean signal. Turn knob right for
increased flange and experiment with this knob in lower positions for “almost chorus” tones.
RATE - Controls the speed of the flange. Turning the knob clockwise increases the speed.
INTENSITY - Controls the amount of flange. Left is mild flanging, right is a more extreme
flanging.
TAPE - Toggle up moves the sound into tape-like sweeps with zero through flanging. This mode
is inspired by real tape flanging as done in studios by altering the speed of tape machines during
playback.
JACKS
INPUT - 1/4” jack on the right side of the pedal.
OUTPUT - 1/4” jack on the left side of the pedal.
POWER - Requires 9V DC negative center power and consumes 70mA. Do not use more than
9V DC. You will void your warranty.
FLANGER
The 3-Series Flanger is inspired by the classic analog flangers of the past.
