To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
• Infantshavesuffocatedoninflatablemattresses.Neverplaceinfantagedbirthto15monthstosleepon
thisinflatableairmattress/airbed.Infantscansuffocateonanunderinflatedordeflatedmattress,on
bedding,byco-sleepingwithanotherperson,andbyentrapmentbetweenthemattressandbedframe
orbetweenthemattressandaverticalsurface.
• Childrencanbeentrappedbetweentheinflatablemattressandanadjacentverticalsurface.Provideat
leastashoulderwidthspacebetweentheinflatablemattress/airbedandadjacentverticalsurfacessuch
aswalls,dressersorotherobjects.
• Alwayskeeptheinflatablemattressfullyinflatedwheninuse.
• Neverintroduceanyflammablesubstanceintotheinflatableairbed,SUCHASAEROSOLTIRE
REPAIRPRODUCTS,asitmayigniteor explode.
• Closesupervisionisnecessarywhenthisfurnishingisusedby,ornearchildren,invalids,ordisable
persons.
• Usethisfurnishingonlyforitsintendeduseasdescribedintheseinstructions.Donotuseattachments

• Avoidsleepingontheedgeoftheairbed.Edgesproducelesssupportthanthemiddleofthebed.
• Donotoperateairpumpformorethan5minutesatatime.Letpumpcoolatleast15minutesbetween
uses.
• Neveroperatethefurnishingwiththeairopeningsblocked.Keeptheairopeningsfreeoflint,hair,and
thelike.Neverdroporinsertobjectintoanyopening.
• Donotdisposeofthebatteriesinregulartrash,municipalwastestreamorbyfireasbatterymayleakor
explode.Alwaysdisposeofthebatteriessafelyinaccordancewithyourlocallawandregulations.
• Neverrechargenon-rechargeablebatteries.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
General
• Thisairbedisidealfortemporaryindoorandoutdooruse particularly when no electrical
power outlet isreadilyavailable.
• This product operates onfour(4)replaceableAAsizebatteries(notincluded).
• Formaximumpowerusealkalinebatteries.Removebatteriesfromequipmentwhichis
nottobeusedforanextendedperiodoftime.
• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.Donotmixalkaline,standard(Carbon-Zinc),or
rechargeable(Nickel-Cadmium)batteries.
• Removeusedbatteriespromptly.
• Keepawayfromheatordirectsunlight.
• Alwayspurchasethecorrectsizeandgradeofbatterymostsuitablefortheintendeduse.
• Replaceallbatteriesofasetatthesametime.
• Cleanthebatterycontactsandalsothoseofthedevicepriortobatteryinstallation.
• Ensurebatteriesareinstalledcorrectlywithregardtopolarity(+and-).
• Ifleakingbatteryliquid(electrolyte)comesincontactwithskin,washimmediatelywith
soapandwaterorneutralizeitwithvinegarorlemonjuice.Incaseofcontactwitheyes,
rinseimmediatelywithplentyofwaterfor10minutesandseekmedicaladvice.
• Makesuretheareaisflat,level,cleanandfreefromsharpobjects.Topreventpuncture
ordamagetotheairbed,neverdragtheairbedacrosstheground.Lifttheinflatedairbed
whenmovingorchanginglocation.
• During outdoor use,placeaprotectivelayersuch as a tarp(notincluded)betweenthe
selectedsurfaceandtheairbedinordertopreventdamagetotheairbed.
Maintenance instructions:

Nospecific airpumpmaintenanceisrequired.
•
Forairbedcleaninguseonlycleanclothwithmildsoapysolution
.
Donotuseanychemicals.
• Incaseofrepairs,useonlycommonPVCrepairglueandpatches.For flocked surfaces:
rubawaytheflockingmaterialwithaneraserfirstbeforeapplyingtheglueand/orpatch.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock or injury, do notexposetorain.Storeindoors.
CAUTION
Properinflationoftheairbed.
Theambienttemperaturesofairhaveaneffectontheairbedinternalpressure.Atlow
ambienttemperaturetheairwillcontractwithintheairbedandtheairbedwillfeelsofter:
addairasnecessary.Athighambienttemperaturetheairwithintheairbedwillexpand
significantlyandtheairbedwillbecomehardandmayburst:releaseairtoavoiddamage
totheairbedortosoftenthefeel. Do not exposetheairbedtoextremetemperatures(hot
orcold).Stretchingisanaturalcharacteristicofnewvinyl.Duringinitialuse,theairbed
maybecomesoftandrequireadditionalinflationtomaintaindesiredfirmness.Thisis
normalforthefirstfewdaysofuse.Dimensionsshownareapproximateandwillvarydue
tothevinyltemperatureandtheairtemperature.
In no event shall Intex, their authorized agents or employees be liable for damages
(such as pin holes) to the airbed caused by negligence, ordinary wear and tear,
abuse and carelessness, or external forces.

PARTS REFERENCE
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Unfoldtheairbedandopentheelectricairpumpcover (3)torevealtheelectricairpump
(2).See Fig (1).
2. Removetheelectricairpumpbyturningtheairpumprimcounterclockwise,andpullthe
airpumpout.See Fig (1).
3. Openthebatterycover(5),insert4“AA”alkalinebatteries(NOTINCLUDED)asshown
onthedrawingsinsidethebatterycompartment,closeandlatchthebatterycover.

4. Inserttheelectricairpumpin the airbedbyaligningthearrowonthepumpbodywiththe
arrowonthepumpholderframe(1).Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockit.See Fig (3-4).

INFLATION
USING THE ELECTRIC AIR PUMP AND TOP OFF THE FIRMNESS WITH THE BUILT-IN
PRESSURE ADJUSTER
NOTE: Theelectricpumpisalowpressureinflator.Startbyinflatingtheairbedusingthe
electricairpumpuntilthesidesareupandthenusethebuilt-inpressure adjuster to reach
yourdesiredfirmness.
1. Makesurethemanualinflationportcap(4) ontheelectricairpumpcover(3) is closed by
pushinginfirmly. See Fig (5).
2. Opentheelectricairpumpcover(3)andturntheswitchONtoinflatetheairbeduntilthe
airbedsidewallsareup.
See Fig (6).The airbed will take shape but still feel soft
.
3. Toswitchoffthepump,simplyclose and latchtheelectricpumpcover(3) andthepump
willstop. See Fig (7).
IMPORTANT: DonotjustturntheswitchOFFwith your finger as this will allow the air
toescape.Closethelargeelectric air pumpcoverwhilethepumpis still operating to
switchOFF.
4. Toachievethedesiredfirmness,fliptheairbedoverwiththeflockedsidefacingdown.
5. Locatethebuilt-inpressure adjuster, unscrew the cap (8)andremovetheinsertplug(7).

6. Topoffwithhandsorfoot,whicheverismoreconvenient.Place your hands or foot
directlyoverthepressureadjustervalveopening, coveringtheopeningcompletely,and
pressdownfirmly. Thiswillpushairfromtheairpumpchamberintothebed. See Fig (9).
MANUAL INFLATION OPTION
Aconventionalexternalfoot,manualorelectricoperatedairpump(notincluded)canbe
usedbyconnectingittothemanualinflationportlocatedontheelectricairpumpcover (3).
See Fig (11). Follow these steps:
1. Makesurethebuilt-inpressure adjuster insert plug
(7) and cap (8) aresecurelyclosed.
2. Makesuretheelectricairpumpcover(3) is latched
closed.Topreventmisplacingordamagetothe
electricairpump(2),thepumpshouldbeproperly
attached.
3. Removethecapfromthemanualinflationport (4)
andinsertthenozzleofthepumpintotheport.
Inflatetheairbedtodesiredfirmness.
NOTE: Topreventbursting,donotoverinflateor
usehighpressureaircompressor.
4. Removenozzlefrommanualinflationportand
closethecapfirmly.

7. Removeyour hands or foot sotheairpumpchamberwillre-fillwithairforthenextcycle.

8. Repeatuntilthedesiredfirmnessisachieved.
9. Replace the built-in pressure adjusterinsertplugandcap.Turntheairbedoverwiththe

3. Withtheairbedfullydeflatedbeginrollingtheairbedfrom
theendoppositeofthepumptowardstheendwherethe
pumpislocated. See Fig (14).
4. Removetheelectricairpumpfromtheairbedandswitch
itOFF.Nowre-attachthepumpinitsoriginalfullyrecessed
position:Withthepowerswitchfacingawayfromtheairbed,
alignthearrowonthepumpbodywiththearrowonthepump
holderframe (1)andreattachtheairpumptotheairbed.
Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockitandclosetheairpump
cover(3).

1. Opentheairpumpcover(3) andremovetheelectricairpump (2)fromtheairbed.

2. Beginrollingtheairbedfromtheendoppositeofthepumptowardstheendwherethe

3. Withthepowerswitchfacingawayfromtheairbed,alignthearrowonthepumpbody
withthearrowonthepumpholderframe (1) andreattachtheairpumptotheairbed.
Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockitandclosetheairpumpcover(3).
POWER DEFLATION
1. Opentheairpumpcover(3) andremovetheelectricairpump(2) fromtheairbed.
Theopenportwillstartdeflatingtheairbednaturally.See Fig (12).
2. SwitchONthepumpbypressing“I”andreattachittotheairbedinthereversedirection:
Withthepowerswitchfacingtheairbed,alignthearrowonthepumprimwiththearrow
onthepumpholderframeandturnpumpclockwisetolockinplace.Thepumpisonly
slightlyrecessedwiththepumpbodystickingoutoftheairbedfordeflation. See Fig (13).

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Deflatetheairbedfollowingthe“DEFLATION”instructions.
2. Makesuretheairbediscleananddry.
3. Lay the airbed flat with the sleeping surface facing upwards and follow the folding steps
on Figs (15 - 19).Foldtheairbedlooselyandavoidsharpbends,cornersandcreases
whichcandamagetheairbed.
4. Placetheairbedinsidethestoragebagandstoreinadry,coolstoragelocation.
