Aidapt VM947A is a sock and stocking helper designed to make putting on socks, tights (pantyhose), or stockings easier. It can be used by individuals who have difficulty bending over, reaching their feet, or have limited mobility. The device consists of a rigid frame with two metal handles and a shorter, middle section over which the sock or stocking is stretched inside out. To use the device, the user pushes their foot into the toe of the sock or stocking and then uses the metal handles to pull the sock or stocking up their calf. When the sock or stocking is fully extended and fitted to the calf, the user slightly lifts the metal frame to release it from the sock or stocking.
