Do not expose your watch to sudden temperature changes (exposure to sunlight followed by

immersion in cold water) or extreme temperatures

portable telephones, computers or refrigerators and other electromagnetic appliances

Shocks

Avoid thermal or other shocks as it may harm your watch. In the event of a violent shock,

please have your watch checked by an authorized Aquinus Service Center.

Harmful Products

Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, and perfumes, cosmetic products etc.,

since they may damage the bracelet, the case and/or the gaskets.

Make sure that your watch is perfectly dry.

Instructions:

Unscrew the crown and move it to position II to manually wind.

Move it to position III to set the date.

Move it to position IV to set the time.

Avoid changing the date between

4:00 pm and 4:00 am

Once the changes are made, push the crown back in and screw it down against the

case to preserve its water-resistance.

When a mechanical self-winding watch is not worn for a certain amount of time, its

power reserve (in this case, 38 hours) is exhausted and the watch stops. To restart

it, unscrew the crown to position II and wind the movement manually by turning the

crown 30 - 40 times. This will give it a sucient power reserve to function normally.

- The bezel can only be rotated counterclockwise

- Markings on the bezel are in 10 minute increments

- The markers on the bezel are luminous to show

visibility

- To track elapsed time dive

- Move 60 minute bezel marker to the minute hand position

- Track the elapsed time by reading the minute markings on the bezel

- Move the rotating bezel so that the 60 marker coincides with the target ﬁnish time

- Move 60 minute bezel marker to the minute hand position

For example if the current time is 10:10 and you only want to dive for 20 minutes.

Rotate bezel 60 minute bezel marker to the 30 minutes mark. When the dive reaches

20 minutes, the minute hand will indicate that 20 minutes has passed since the dive started.

Elapsed time: 20 minutes

Water resistance of watches is rated based on laboratory pressure tests comparable to

a swimmer or diver sitting still at that pressure level. However many water-based

activities involve a lot of movement and other environmental changes. These excep-

tions to how the watch was rated may challenge or defeat the water protection

features of a water resistant watch. The water resistance of a watch cannot perma-

nently be guaranteed. It may be aected by aging of gaskets or by accidental shock to the

crown. We recommend that you have the water resistance of your watch checked once a

year by an authorized Aquinus Service Center.

Never activate the time-setting crown and/or the pushers while the watch is under

water and make sure that the crown has been pushed/screwed down tightly after every

operation. Do not under any circumstances open the watch yourself; arrange to get it

inspected by an authorized Aquinus Service Center only.

Clean the case and bracelet regularly using a soft cloth to prevent any corrosion

caused by perspiration. All water resistant watches can be cleaned with a toothbrush

and soapy water, and then dried with a soft cloth. After being worn in the sea, the

watch must be rinsed with warm fresh water and then dried completely.

Aquinus - Lac Orbe: 20atm - C, covers all water resistance from A - C and suitable for

scuba diving of the surface.

LIMITED WARRANTY:

Your Aquinus watch is warrantied by Aquinus and The Montrichard Group for a period

of Twenty-Four (24) Months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions

of this warranty. The international Aquinus warranty covers material and manufacturing

defects. The warranty only becomes active if the warranty certiﬁcate is dated, fully and

correctly completed, and the watch has been registered on our After Sales Service Center

during the warranty period. In the event that your Aquinus watch is beyond repair,

Aquinus and The Montrichard Group guarantees its replacement by a Aquinus watch of

identical or similar characteristics. The warranty for the replacement watch is Twenty-Four

(24) Months after the date the replacement is issued.

This manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

Wear and tear and aging (e.g. scratched crystal; alteration of the color and/or

material of non metallic straps and chains, such as leather, textile, rubber; peeling

of the plating).

Any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal/abusive use, lack of care,

negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.).

Incorrect use of the watch and non-observance of the instructions provided

by Aquinus.

The Aquinus watch handled by non-authorized persons (e.g. for services or repairs)

or which has been altered in its original condition beyond Aquinus’s control.

LIMITATION OF DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES:

All applicable implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability and

of ﬁtness for a particular purpose given to you by law are hereby limited in duration

to the duration of this warranty. Under no circumstances will Aquinus or The Montrich-

ard Group be liable for any indirect or consequential damages of any kind.
