Quick Reference Guide
This quick reference guide explains the basic
function settings and how to shoot and play back
images. You can take this guide with you when
shooting. For detailed instructions, refer to the
EOS REBEL T4i/EOS 650D Instruction Manual.

Flip out the LCD
monitor.
Focus the subject.
Aim the viewfinder center over the
subject and press the shutter
button halfway to autofocus.
Take the picture.
Press the shutter button
completely to take the
picture.
View the image.
The captured image will be
displayed for 2 sec. on the
LCD monitor.
The

on the right of the function indicates that the function is
available only in Creative Zone modes
(d,s,f,a).

Pressing the <Q> button will display the Quick Control screen.
In the C/2/3/4/5/6/F shooting mode, press the
<V> key to select the function, then press the <U> key
or turn the <6> dial to set it as desired.
Set the Mode Dial to <d>.
You can change the camera
settings as desired to shoot in
various ways.
The camera automatically sets the shutter speed and
aperture in the same way as the <A> mode.
