safe to climb.
• Removeandsecureladderawayfromthepoolwhenthepoolisnotinuseto
prevent unauthorized, unintentional or unsupervised pool entry.
• Checkallnutsandboltsregularlyandbeforeeachusetoensuretheladderis
sturdy. See maintenance instructions.
6. MAINTENANCE:
Regularlycheckallnuts,bolts,stepmountingfixturesandstepmountingpinstoensure
allpartsaresecuredproperlyandtheladderissturdy.Bringtheladderindoorsand
storeinasafeanddryarea,preferablybetween32degreesFahrenheit(0degrees
Celsius)and104degreesFahrenheit(40degreesCelsius).
GENERAL AQUATIC SAFETY
Waterrecreationisbothfunandtherapeutic.However,itinvolvesinherentrisksofinjuryand
death.Toreduceyourriskofinjury,readandfollowallproduct,packageandpackageinsert
warnings and instructions. Remember, however, that product warnings, instructions and
safetyguidelinescoversomecommonrisksofwaterrecreation,butdonotcoverallrisks
and dangers.
For additional safeguards, also familiarize yourself with the following general guidelines as
well as guidelines provided by nationally recognized Safety Organizations:
• Demandconstantsupervision.Acompetentadultshouldbeappointedasa“lifeguard”orwater
watcher,especiallywhenchildrenareinandaroundthepool.
• Learntoswim.
• TakethetimetolearnCPRandfirstaid.
• Instructanyonewhoissupervisingpoolusersaboutpotentialpoolhazardsandabouttheuseof
protectivedevicessuchaslockeddoors,barriers,etc.
• Instructallpoolusers,includingchildrenwhattodoincaseofanemergency.
• Alwaysusecommonsenseandgoodjudgementwhenenjoyinganywateractivity.
• Supervise,supervise,supervise.
