When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, including but not limited to the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
DANGER To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Do not place or store the charger or plug where it can fall or be pulled into a tub
or sink.
2. Do not place the charger in or drop the charger or plug into water or other liquid.
Charger unit is not for immersion or for use in the shower.
3. Do not reach for a charger or plug that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

WARNING To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
1. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or
physically challenged persons.
2. Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
4. Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
5. Do not use the charger outdoors.
6. For best performance, please use the Power Adapter supplied with the unit.
Never operate the Clarisonic Opal if it is damaged. Do not operate the charger if it
has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or

The Opal Sonic Infusion Device, Protective Cap and Charging Base have no
serviceable parts.
The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the charger must be
unplugged and replaced. Call Clarisonic at 888-525-2747.

IMPORTANT CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
If you are under a doctor’s care for any skin condition, if you think you may have a skin
condition, or if you have sensitivity to skin care products, please consult your physician
before using.
We recommend using the Clarisonic Opal with the Anti-Aging Sea Serum which has
been optimized for gentle daily use.
Do not use the Opal directly on the eye or the eyelid.
Do not use on open sores or pustular acne.

Do not share applicator tips with others.
The Clarisonic Opal is not waterproof, do not use in the shower, bathtub or near water.
This product uses magnets.
BEFORE USING CLARISONIC OPAL FOR THE FIRST TIME, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING:
ALLERGY TEST
As with any skin care product, test for skin allergy at least 48 hours before using

If bumps, burning, skin discoloration or other allergic reaction occurs,
discontinue use.

OPAL SONIC INFUSION SYSTEM
In just 30 seconds, Opal sonically infuses the Anti-Aging Sea Serum into the eye area. The gentle
micro-massaging action of the Opal combined with the Sea Serum works immediately. Opal is
gentle enough for daily use morning and evening.

APPLY SERUM
Pump additional Serum onto the Applicator Tip and repeat for other eye.
The Sonic Infusion Device can be used around the eye area and lip contour.
DO NOT USE on the soft tissue under eyes or on the eyelids to avoid eye injury.
Pressing too hard will stop the motion of the Applicator Tip.
If you press the Power button while Opal is in motion, the Infusion Device will turn off.
To start another 30-second cycle, press the Power button.

CHARGING
Charge the Opal for 24 hours. A fully charged Sonic Infusion Device provides approximately
21 days of use when used twice per day, for two 30-second uses. To safely charge or recharge
the Opal, read all instructions below.
Make sure the Protective Cap is attached to the
Sonic Infusion Device.
1. Plug the cord into a working outlet.
2. Place the Opal Sonic Infusion Device on top of the
Charging Base. Align the stripe of the Charging
Base with the stripe of the Sonic Infusion Device,
with Clarisonic logos facing up. A magnetic click
indicates proper charging.

Attach the Opal Sonic Infusion Opal pulses twice.

Charge the Opal Battery life indicator blinks while charging.
Fully Charged (24 hours of charging) Battery life indicator glows constant.
Low Battery (after 40 minutes of use) Infusion Device lightly pulses and battery life indicator
blinks after the infusion cycle.
The charger is compatible with 100-240 VAC; 50/60 Hz, allowing it to be used worldwide. If the
shape of the plug does not fit the power outlet, use an attachment plug adapter of the proper
configuration for the power outlet.
INFREQUENT USE: the Clarisonic Opal should receive a charge occasionally.
If you rarely use the Opal, charge it every 3 months to maintain its charging capability.

CARING FOR YOUR OPAL SONIC INFUSION DEVICE
After use, gently blot the Applicator Tip with a tissue or cotton swab.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals on the Opal Sonic Infusion Device.
Do not attempt to open the Opal Sonic Infusion Device. It is a sealed unit.
The Opal is not waterproof. Do not put any part of the Opal (including Applicator Tip) in water
or dishwasher.
APPLICATOR TIPS
Replace the Applicator Tip every 3 months. Two replacement tips
are included with the device. Tips are also sold separately on
clarisonic.com, at various retail locations and from your skin
care professional.
To remove: Using your fingertip, lift from the rim of the hard plastic
applicator and pop the tip off.
To attach: Release tip from protective cover by pulling the side tabs
away and off of the soft silicone. Firmly press the applicator tip onto
black tip base. Listen for a snap, signaling proper attachment.

STORING
The Clarisonic Opal can be safely stored between 32˚ and 120˚F. Subjecting Opal to extreme heat
or cold could damage the device.
When not in use, it is safe to store the Opal on the Charging Base. You may keep the Charging
Base plugged in if you choose, or you may disengage the power cord from the Charging Base
and rest the Opal on the base. Re-engage the power cord when the Opal is ready to
be recharged.
Device Disposal at End of Product Life: Your Clarisonic device is sealed and contains
rechargeable NiMH batteries. These batteries are non-replaceable and the device is sealed
and non-repairable. When your device reaches end of life: it no longer holds a charge, does
not function and is out of warranty; the device must be recycled or disposed of per your local or
state guidelines. Do not dispose of it in fire.

Clarisonic’s warranty obligations are limited to the terms set out below.
Limited Warranty does not cover formulations.
1. Warranty Coverage
a) For the duration of the Warranty Period, Clarisonic warrants the Product against defects in
materials and workmanship arising from Normal Use of the Product.
b) If there is a defect in the Product which is covered by this Limited Warranty, Clarisonic agrees
to exchange the Product with a new equivalent warranty Product from a selection of core
colors, based on availability. This is the sole remedy available for breach of warranty.

c) This Limited Warranty is exclusive of all other warranties, whether oral or written, express or
implied. There are no implied warranties created by the manufacture, sale, or use of the
Product. If Clarisonic cannot lawfully disclaim implied warranties under this Limited Warranty,
all such warranties, including warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose,
are limited in duration of this Limited Warranty. Some States do not allow limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
2. How to get warranty service or for general customer service inquiries
In order to receive service under this Limited Warranty, please call Customer Service at
1-888-525-2747 who will direct you how to proceed. To expedite your customer service call,
please have the device available at the time of your call, as you will need to reference it for
validation purposes.
3. Limitations
a) This warranty is limited and may be relied upon only:
(i) by the original end user of Clarisonic’s Product; and
(ii) where the Product was manufactured by or for Clarisonic and sold by
an authorized distributor.
b) To obtain service under this Limited Warranty, you will be required to provide Clarisonic with
original proof of purchase date or you must have registered your Product. Registering your
Product permits Clarisonic to contact you in the event of a product question or recall, allows
you to sign up to receive future correspondence from us and gives you easy access to the
latest Clarisonic news and information.

c) This Limited Warranty does not apply where the Product is subjected to use that does not
constitute Normal Use, including but not limited to personal injury or property damage arising
from misuse of the Product.
4. Exclusions
Clarisonic is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages
arising out of the use of the Product, whether arising from an electrical issue or otherwise. Some
States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
5. Validity
This Limited Warranty is valid only in the USA.
6. Definitions
a) Normal Use” means ordinary consumer use under normal home conditions according to the
instruction manual included with the Product. It does not include using the Product with a
voltage converter.
b) “Product” means Opal.
c) “Warranty Period” means 2 years from the date of purchase of the Product.
