Thread handle chain through handle shaft
(see Figure 3).

Using hammer and punch, insert 6 x 30mm
roll pin into each end of handle shaft to
secure (see Figure 2).

Hold handle assembly with chain at bottom,
then insert chain and handle base into top
pump assembly opening.
2.
Align handle assembly in pump assembly,
then install handle shaft so that roll-pin holes
in hanbdle shaft align with roll-pin slot in
pump assembly (see Figure 2).

5. Lift actuating cam with pry bar, then slide stud
on end of chain through slot. To secure stud,
tighten upper hex nut onto actuating cam, as
shown in Figure 3.
Operation
Using the handle lever shown in Figure 4, the pal-
let jack forks can be raised, lowered, or placed in
the neutral position for moving.

Lift Position: Raises pallet jack forks when han-
dle is pumped. Move lever down until it locks in
place, then pump handle to lift forks.
Lower Position: Lowers pallet jack. Pull lever up
SLOWLY to begin lowering forks. Avoid pulling
lever up quickly or load will drop suddenly.
Neutral Position: Place handle in this position
to move load. In neutral position, pump and lift
mechanism are disengaged so that handle can
move up and down freely while operator pulls jack
during moving operation.

Adding Hydraulic Oil
Hydraulic oil in the jack cylinder may need to
be added periodically after prolonged use or if it
leaks out.
To add hydraulic oil:
1.
Lower forks completely.
2. Remove fill plug (see Figure 5).

3. Add oil until level is just below fill hole.
4. Replace fill plug.
Lubrication
We recommend adding a few drops of SAE 10W-
30 oil every three months to each rotating point
shown in Figure 6.

Symptom Possible Cause Possible Solution
Forks do not
lift, or do not lift
sufficiently.
1. Pump assembly hydraulic oil level low/
contaminated.
2. Too much hydraulic oil in pump assembly.
3. Handle adjustment hex nut too tight.
4. Lifting component stuck/bent.
1. Fill pump assembly with hydraulic oil. If necessary,
drain old/contaminated oil and replace.
2. Pump off extra hydraulic oil.
3. Loosen handle adjustment hex nut (Page 2).
4. Inspect/replace lifting components.
Forks do not
lower from
raised position.
1. Lifting components jammed with debris.
2. Handle adjustment hex nut too loose.
3. Lifting components bent/damaged.
1. Inspect mechanism, clear debris.
2. Tighten handle adjustment hex nut (Page 2).
3. Inspect/replace damaged lifting components.
Forks lower by
themselves.
1. Impurities in relief valve/hydraulic oil.
2. Relief valve faulty/damaged.

To reduce risk of serious personal injury when using:
1. Read and understand manual before using.
2. Do not operate if damaged.
3. Do not exceed maximum lifting capacity.
4. Never place any part of your body in lifting
mechanism, under forks, or under a lifted load.
5. Use extreme care to avoid tipping when handling
long, high, or wide loads.
6. Always balance heavy loads and keep forks as
low as possible for maximum stability.
7. Do not lift loosely stacked loads.
8. Only use on hard, flat surfaces.
9. Avoid using on inclines or ramps that will cause
loss of control.
10. This jack is intended for operation by a person
strong enough to control it and bring it to a
complete stop.
11. To stop jack in an emergency, use lowering
control lever to drop load to ground.
12. Never allow children to play on or with jack.
13. Never ride or stand on forks or lifted load.
