IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Only Compatible with CompactFlash cards from 16 MB to 4 GB

You can use 1 GB, 2 GB, and 4 GB, CompactFlash cards. But the maximum amount of memory you can use

on the card is 512 MB.

This function protects sampled waves from being lost by mistake.

Its factory setting is

(enabled).

When wave protect is ON, trying to execute some operations might cause the “

wave protected!

”

message to appear.

If you want to delete wave files in the internal memory or the CompactFlash card, or execute a BACKUP

LOAD function, you must first set to “

wave protect off

.”

When wave protect is ON (enabled), hold down [WAVE] and [SETUP] buttons, and power the SPD-S on.

After the indication “Welcome to SPD-S,” “wave protect off” appears and wave protect is set to OFF.
