1. Mount the pedestal assembly on a pallet base
(optional) using the (4) ¾-10 X 1.50 grade 5

assembly into the pedestal assembly. Coat the
bottom pipe on the boom mast & spring retainer

4. Install the boom arm assembly. Place the swivel
plate on the back of the boom arm assembly

mast & spring retainer housing assembly. In-
stall the main swivel pin. This consists of (1) ¾-
10 X 3.50 grade 8 bolt, (3) flat washers and (1)

Tighten the lock nut completely and back the
lock nut off 1 full turn.
Do not remove the spring rod shipping support until
full assembly is completed and all components are
installed on the boom. This support is painted “RED”
and must stay in place to prevent the Boom Arm from
flying upward and possibly causing personal injury.
5. Attach the spring rod clevis to the clevis plate
on the bottom of the boom arm assembly. In-
stall the clevis swivel pin. This consists of (1) 5/
8-11 X 3.50 grade 8 bolt, (4) flat washers and

the head of the bolt and (2) under the lock nut.

the lock nut off 2 full turns.
