DESCRIPTION: The PS2-IS-BARRIER is an FM Approved
associated apparatus (Zener Diode Barrier). The barrier is
enclosed within an ABS plastic case.
USE: The PS2-IS-BARRIER is intended for installation within a
non-hazardous location and provides intrinsically safe (entity)

serviceable parts. WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT REPAIR.
SUBSTITION OF COMPONENTS MAY IMPAIR PROTECTION
OF INTRINSICALLY SAFE CIRCUITS.
INSTALLATION: The PS2-IS-BARRIER shall be installed in a
non-hazardous location. The barrier provides intrinsically safe
circuits to intrinsically safe apparatus located within hazardous
(classified) locations as detailed in the Certification and
Operating Specifications section. Installation shall be in
accordance with NEC Article 504, ANSI/NFPA 70, ISA RP
12.06.01 and iKey drawing number HL0079.
