1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Attention: to avoid the risk of electric shock,
do not remove the cover. The interior does not
contain any parts that may be repaired by the
user. Ask for assistance to qualiî„®ed personnel.
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance, read carefully this instrucon manual and keep it in a
safe place, as you may need it for future consultaons.
Before you start your appliance, and to ensure a correct use, do not use it if:
• It has fallen on the ground;
•You noce any evidence of damage;
•Any anomaly occurs during its operaon;
To avoid hazards and deterioraon of your appliance by an incorrect use, it is advisable
to read the instrucons carefully and aenvely.
Your appliance must not be used to other ends than the ones foreseen in the
instrucons manual. Your safety is only guaranteed in a household use and not for
commercial use. The incorrect use will not be covered and automacally cancels the
right to warranty.
Assistance
Be sure that, in case of malfuncon, you take your appliance to a qualied technician
for assistance.
This appliance can be used by children from 8 years
old and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given instrucon
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Energy
Make sure the voltage of the electric network is compable with the one of the
appliance. If it does not match, consult the vendor or Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not roll up or pull the cord to disconnect the appliance, and do not use to twine the
appliance. Keep the cord far from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket, or if it is not working
properly.
In case of damage of the power cord, do not use your appliance. Take it to technical
assistance for its replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not let your appliance to catch water
under any circumstance, as it may be dangerous. TO AVOID FIRE HAZARD OR ELECTRIC
SHOCK DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR APPLIANCE TO HUMIDITY OR WATER. Do not place your
appliance under water (for example for washing).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch oî„« the appliance and remove the plug from the
mains power supply.
Do not splash water on the units for cleaning, as electric shocks may occur. Wipe the
unit with a dry so cloth or a cloth slightly moistened with water or cleaner (not with
a volale liquid such as thinner or gasoline).
1.5. General Precautions
•Please follow the instrucons of the user manual, which helps properly installing
and operang this product and enjoying its advanced features. Please keep the
instrucons for future reference.
•Read all instrucons before using the product.
•Do not use the product if the supply cord is damaged. If it is the case, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent.
•The pictures in this manual may be dierent from the real product, please refer
to the real product for reference.
•Before operaon, please conrm whether the power specicaons comply with
the one on the nameplate.
•Before cleaning or maintaining the air condioner, please turn o the air
condioner and pull out the power plug.
•Make sure the power cord has not been pressed by hard objects.
•Do not pull or drag the power cord to pull out the power plug or move the air
condioner.
• Do not insert or pull out the power plug with wet hands.
• Please use the grounded power. Make sure the grounding is reliable.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualiî„®ed person in order to avoid a hazard.
•If abnormal condion occurs (e.g. burned smell), please disconnect the power
immediately and then contact the local dealer.
•When nobody is taking care of the unit, please turn it o and remove the power
plug or disconnect the power.
•Do not splash or pour water on the air condioner. Otherwise, it may cause short
circuit or damage the air condioner.
•If you use a drainage hose, the nearby temperature cannot be lower than 0°C.
Otherwise, it will cause water leakage to the air condioner.
•It is forbidden to operate any kind of heang equipment around the air condioner.
•Keep the appliance away from re sources, inammable and explosive objects.
•Children and disabled people are not allowed to use the air condioner without
supervision.
•Do not allow children to play or climb on the air condioner.
•Do not put or hang dripping objects on top of the air condioner.
•Do not repair or disassemble the air condioner by yourself.
•It is forbidden to insert any objects into the air condioner.
•The air condioner must be operated within the temperature range: 16°C~35°C.
• The appliance is for indoor use only.

•The appliance must be posioned so that the plug is accessible at all mes.
•This air condioner can only be used in a household environment, not for
commercial industry.
•The reserved space around the air condioner should be at least 12″ (30cm).
•Do not operate the air condioner on humid environments.
• Please keep the air inlet and the air outlet clean, and free from obstacles.
•During operaon, close the doors and windows to improve the cooling eect.
•Please put the air condioner on a smooth and at ground when operang to
avoid noise and vibraon.
•This air condioner is equipped with castors. Castors should slide on a smooth
and î…‡at ground.
•It is forbidden to lt or turn over the air condioner. If there is any abnormality,
please disconnect the power cord immediately and contact your dealer.
• Do not place this appliance in direct sunlight.

1. Power buon:
Press once to start and press once more to stop the unit.
2. Mode buon:
Press this buon to change the operaon mode as shown below:
COOL→ DRY → FAN→ COOL;
3. ˄˅ buon:
In Cool or Heat mode, if you press the buon once, the temperature will decrease
1˚C (33°F). If you press the buon once the temperature will increase 1˚C (33°F). The
temperature can be selected from 16˚C (61°F) ~ 30˚C (86°F).

Press this buon to change the operaon fan in the following order:

5. Timer buon:
Press the mer buon to enter the mer seng mode. Under this mode, press the
or buon to adjust the mer seng. Timer seng will increase or decrease 0.5 hour
by pressing the or buon within 10 hours, while the mer seng will increase
or decrease 1 hour by pressing the or buon for more than 10 hours. Aer mer
seng is nished, the unit will display the temperature if there is no operaon for 5
seconds. If the mer funcon is started up, the upper indicator will keep the display
status. Otherwise, it will not be displayed. Under mer mode, press mer buon
again to cancel mer mode.
6. Sleep buon:
Press the sleep buon to enter the sleep mode. If the control operates at cooling
mode, aî…Œer the sleep mode is started up, the preset temperature will increase by 2ËšC
within 2 hours and then the unit will operates at this temperature all the me.
Meanwhile, if the control operates at heang mode, aer the sleep mode is started
up, the preset temperature will decrease 2ËšC within 2 hours and then the unit will
operate at this temperature all the me.
The Sleep funcon is not available for the Fan mode, Dry mode and Auto mode.
If the Sleep funcon is started up, the upper indicator will keep displaying the status.
Otherwise, it will not be displayed.

2.3.1. Remote Control Operation
Note:
Aer turning on the power, the air condioner will give out a sound and the operaon
indicator is On (red indicator). Aer that, you can operate the air condioner using
the remote control.
•When the unit is On, each me you press the buon on the remote control, the
sending signal icon on the remote control display will blink once. If the air
condioner gives out a beep sound, it means the signal has been sent.
•When the unit is O, the display screen on the remote control displays the set
temperature. At the On status, the display screen on the remote control displays
the corresponding startup funcon’s icon.
1. On/O buon:
Press this buon to turn on or turn o the air condioner. Aer turning on the air
condioner, the operaon indicator on the indoor unit display is On (green indicator)
and the indoor unit will give out a sound.
Note:
The colour is diî„«erent for diî„«erent models.
2. Mode buon:
Press this buon to select your required operaon mode.
•When selecng auto mode, the air condioner will start auto operaon according
to the indoor ambient temperature. Seng the temperature cannot be adjusted
and will not be displayed as well. Pressing the Fan buon can adjust the fan speed.
•Aer selecng the Cool mode, the air condioner will operate under cool mode.
The Cool indicator on the indoor unit is On. Press + or - buon to adjust the
temperature seng. Press the Fan buon to adjust the fan speed.
•When selecng the Dry mode, the air condioner operates at low speed under
Dry mode. The Dry indicator on the indoor unit is On. Under Dry mode, the Fan
speed cannot be adjusted.
•When selecng the Fan mode, the air condioner will only blow fan, with no
cooling or heang as all indicators will be O. Press the Fan buon to adjust the
fan speed.
•When selecng Heang mode, the air condioner operates under Heat mode.
The Heat indicator on the indoor unit will be On. Press the + or - buon to
adjust the temperature seng. Press the Fan buon to adjust the fan speed.
Note:
•For prevenng cold air, aer starng up the heang mode, the indoor fan will
blow fan aer delaying 1~5 minutes (actual delay me depends on indoor
ambient temperature).
•The seng temperature range with the remote control: 16~30˚C;
• Fan speed: auto, low speed, medium speed and high speed.

3. + and - buon:
•Pressing + or - buon once increases or decreases the set temperature 1˚C.
Holding the + or - buon, 2 seconds later, the set temperature on the remote
control will change quickly. When releasing the buon aer seng is nished,
the temperature indicator on the indoor unit will change accordingly (the
temperature cannot be adjusted under Auto mode).
•When seng Timer On, Timer O or Clock, press the + or - buon to adjust the
me (refer to the Clock, Timer On and Timer O buons).
4. Fan buon:
Pressing this buon can set the fan speed in sequence: Auto (AUTO), Low Speed ( ),
Medium Speed ( ) and High Speed ( ).
Note:
•Under Auto speed, the air condioner will select a proper fan speed by default
automacally.
• The fan speed under dry mode is low speed.

5. Health buon:
HEALTH Funcon:
Aer pressing the Health buon, the remote control will switch circularly as below:
HEALTH→AIR→AIR HEALTH→no display
•When selecng Health with the remote controller, the Health funcon will be
started up.
•When selecng Air with the remote control, the Air funcon will be started up.
•When selecng Air Health, Air and the Health, the funcon will be started up.
•When there is no display on the remote control, the Air and Health funcon will
be turned oî„«.
6. X-Fan buon:
Aer pressing this buon under Cool or Dry mode, the remote control displays the
X-Fan icon and the X-Fan funcon is started up. Press this buon again to cancel the
X-Fan funcon. The X-Fan icon will disappear.
Note:
•Aer starng up the X-Fan funcon, when turning o the unit, the indoor fan will
connue to operate for a while at low speed to dry the residual water inside the
indoor unit.
•When the unit operates under X-Fan mode, pressing the X-Fan buon can turn o
the X-Fan funcon. The indoor fan stops operaon immediately.
7. Temperature buon:
By pressing this buon, you can see the indoor set temperature, the indoor ambient
temperature or the outdoor ambient temperature on the indoor unit display. The
seng on remote control is selected circularly as shown below:
•When selecng or no display with the remote control, the temperature
indicator on the indoor unit displays the set temperature.
•When selecng with the remote control, the temperature indicator on the
indoor unit displays the indoor ambient temperature.
•When selecng with the remote control, the temperature indicator on the
indoor unit displays the outdoor ambient temperature.
Note:
•The outdoor temperature display is not available for some models. When the
indoor unit receives the signal, it displays the indoor set temperature.
•Only for the models whose indoor unit has dual-8 display.
No display
8. Timer buon:
•At On status, press this buon once to set the Timer O. The Hour icon and O
will blink. Press the + or - buon within 5 seconds to adjust the me of the Timer
On. Each me you press the + or - buon, the me will increase or decrease half
an hour. When holding the + or - buon, 2 seconds later, the me will change
quickly unl you reach your required me. Aer that, press the Timer buon to
conî„®rm it. The Hour icon and Oî„« will not blink again. Cancelling the Timer Oî„«:
Press the Timer buon again under Timer O status.
•At O status, press this buon once to set the Timer On. Please refer to the Timer
O for detailed operaon.
•Cancelling the Timer On: Press the Timer buon again under Timer On status.
Note:
•Time seng range: 0.5-24 hours.
•The me interval between two operaons cannot exceed 5 seconds. Otherwise,
the remote control will exit the seng status automacally.
9. Turbo buon:
When pressing this buon under Cool or Heang mode, the air condioner will enter
the quick cooling or quick heang mode. The Turbo icon is displayed on the remote
control. Press this buon again to exit the turbo funcon and the Turbo icon will
disappear on the remote control.
10. Sleep buon:
Under Cool or Heat mode, press this buon to start up the sleep funcon. The
icon is displayed on the remote control. Press this buon again to cancel the sleep
funcon. The icon on the remote control will be displayed.
11. Light buon:
Press this buon to turn o the display light on the indoor unit. The icon on the
remote control disappears. Press this buon again to turn on the display light. The
icon is displayed.
Combinaon Buons
Child Lock Funcon: Press + and - simultaneously to turn on or turn o the child lock
funcon. When the child lock funcon is on, the icon is displayed on the remote
control. If you operate the remote control, the icon will ash three mes, while the
remote control will not send any signal.
Temperature Display Switchover Funcon: Under O status, press the - and Mode
buons simultaneously to switch temperature display between ˚C and ˚F.
2.3.2. Replacing the Batteries on the Remote Control
1. Press the back side of the remote control marked with , as shown in the picture
and then push out the cover of the baery compartment along the arrow direcon.
2. Replace two 7# (AAA 1.5V) dry baeries, and make sure the posion of the + and -
polaries are correct.
3. Reinstall the cover of the baery compartment.

Note:
•During operaon, point the remote control signal sender at the receiving window
on the indoor unit.
•The distance between the signal sender and the receiving window should be no
more than 8m, and there should be no obstacles between them.
•The signal may be easily interfered in a room where there is a uorescent lamp
or a wireless telephone. The remote control should be close to the indoor unit
during operaon.
•Replace new baeries of the same model as the old ones when replacement is
required.
•When you are not going to use the remote control for a long me, please take
out the baeries.
•If the display on the remote control is fuzzy or there is no display, please replace
the baeries.
2.4. Operation Guide
1. Aer pung through the power, press the On/O buon on the remote control to
turn on the air condioner.
2. Press the Mode buon to select your required mode: Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan or Heat.
3. Press the + or - buon to set your required temperature (the temperature cannot
be adjusted under Auto mode).
4. Press the Fan buon to set your required fan speed: Auto, Low, Medium and High
speed.

2.5.3. Installation Site Instructions
Installing the unit in the following places may cause malfuncon. If it is unavoidable,
please consult the local authorized dealer. Avoid the following sites where:
•Strong heat sources, vapors, ammable gas or volale liquids are emied.
•High-frequency electro-magnec waves generated by radio equipment, welders
and medical equipment.
•Salt-laden air prevails (such as close to coastal areas).
•The air is contaminated with industrial vapors and oils.
•The air contains sulfuric gas such as in hot spring zones.
•Corrosion or poor air quality exists.
• There are with special circumstances.
Requirement of the Air Condioner:
1. The air inlet should be far away from obstacles and do not place any objects near
the air outlet. Otherwise, it will aect the radiaon of the heat-removal pipe.
2. Select a locaon where the noise and oulow of air emied by the outdoor unit will
not aî„«ect the neighborhood.
3. Please try your best to keep the appliance away from î…‡uorescent lamp.
2.5.4. Electrical Connection Requirements
1. You must follow the electric safety regulaons when installing the unit.
2. According to the local safety regulaons, use a qualied power supply circuit.
3. For the appliances with type Y aachments, the instrucons shall contain the
substance of the following. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualiî„®ed persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
4. Properly connect the live wire, neutral wire and grounding wire of the power socket.
5. Be sure to cut oî„« the power supply before proceeding any work related to electricity
and safety.
6. Do not put through the power before nishing installaon.
7. The air condioner is a Class I electric appliance. It must be properly grounded
with a specialized grounding device by a professional. Please make sure it is always
grounded eecvely, otherwise it may cause electric shock.
8. The yellow-green wire or green wire in the air condioner is the grounding wire,
which cannot be used for other purposes.
9. The grounding resistance should comply with the naonal electric safety regulaons.

2.5.5. Installing the Unit
1. Install the rear clip:
Aim the rear clip (upper) at the rear clip (lower), î„®x them together and press the clasp
forcibly in to the groove.
2. Install the hose at the rear clip:
Aim the opening of the hose at the round mouth of rear clip and rotate the hose
anclockwise into the rear clip.
3. Install the hose at the joint 1:
Aim the opening of hose at the round mouth of joint 1, rotate the hose anclockwise
into the joint.
4. Connect rear plate 1 and rear plate 2:
Fix the adjustable plate at the sliding groove of rear plate 1 and put the adjustable
plate into the rear plate to enable the adjustable plate slide inside the rear plate.
Then, connect the rear plate 2 and î„®x the rear plate 1 and 2 with the screw. Adjust the
distance between rear plate 1 and rear plate 2 according to the required installaon
height.
5. The length of the rear plate 1 and rear plate 2 can be adjusted according to the
user’s requirement. Loosen the screws that x the rear plate 1, rear plate 2 and the
adjustable plate to move the rear plate 2 and the adjustable plate (you can slide freely
in the sliding groove of the rear plate 1 and rear plate 2) to the required length, and
then î„®x the rear plate 1 and rear plate 2 with screws.
6. Do not put through the power before nishing installaon.
7. The air condioner is a Class I electric appliance. It must be properly grounded

2.5.5. Installing the Unit

Aim the rear clip (upper) at the rear clip (lower), î„®x them together and press the clasp

2. Install the hose at the rear clip:
Aim the opening of the hose at the round mouth of rear clip and rotate the hose
anclockwise into the rear clip.

3. Install the hose at the joint 1:
Aim the opening of hose at the round mouth of joint 1, rotate the hose anclockwise
into the joint.
4. Connect rear plate 1 and rear plate 2:
Fix the adjustable plate at the sliding groove of rear plate 1 and put the adjustable
plate into the rear plate to enable the adjustable plate slide inside the rear plate.
Then, connect the rear plate 2 and î„®x the rear plate 1 and 2 with the screw. Adjust the
distance between rear plate 1 and rear plate 2 according to the required installaon
height.
5. The length of the rear plate 1 and rear plate 2 can be adjusted according to the
user’s requirement. Loosen the screws that x the rear plate 1, rear plate 2 and the
adjustable plate to move the rear plate 2 and the adjustable plate (you can slide freely
in the sliding groove of the rear plate 1 and rear plate 2) to the required length, and
then î„®x the rear plate 1 and rear plate 2 with screws.

6. Install the protecve grill:
Aim the protecve grill at the air outlet of the rear plate 1 and then press the clasp of
the protecve grill inwards to fasten the rear plate 1.
7. Install the exhaust hose sub-assy at the rear plate:
Aim the rear clip of exhaust hose sub-assy at the air outlet of the rear plate 1 and then
press the clasp of rear clip into the groove of the protecve grill rmly.
8. Install the exhaust hose sub-assy at the rear plate:
Fix the joint 1 of the exhaust hose sub-assy at the air outlet of the back plate and the
groove at the two sides of the back plate air outlet, then insert joint 1 into the groove
downwards.

9. Install the baî…‹e (air outlet):
When the unit is not to be used, press the clasp of protecve grill to make it separate
from the rear plate 1 and then pull the protecve grill outwards to remove it. The
baî…‹e (air outlet) is in the sliding groove of the rear plate 1. Move the baî…‹e (air outlet)
to block the air outlet.
10. Filter 2:
Hold the buckle of the î„®lter 2 to pull it outwards.

11. Install the wire hook:
Press the clasp at the upper side of the back plate, assemble the î„®rst wire hook
downwards into the groove of the upper clasp; press the clasp at the lower side of
the back plate and assemble the second wire hook upwards into the groove of lower
clasp.
12. Install the remote controller box:
The opening of the remote controller box is upward. Aim the groove of the back side
at the groove of the le side plate and then assemble the remote control box.

Thecondensationwaterdrainageisdonethroughahoseconnectedtotheunit
whichmustbekeptinhorizontalpositionforanefficientdrainage.Thisunithasan
internaldepositnotremovable.
Therearetwooptionsfordrainage:
A. Continuousdrainageofinternalhole
Keepthehoseconnectedtoasewersystem/externaldepositforwater
drainage.Inthiscasethereisnoalertsincetheunitwilldrain
continuouslywithoutanystorageinside.(Thisoptionisnot
recommendablebecausetherewillbeadecreaseinenergeticefficiency).
NOTE: When using the option of continuous drainage, install the drainage hose
first as shown in the picture below, otherwise, the incorrect drainage will
affect the normal operation of the unit.

1. Fixthedrainagepipeclipontherightofrearsideplateneardrainageportwith
ascrew.

2. Removetherubberplugatdrainageport.
3. Putthedrainagepipeintodrainageportandscrewitup,andthenbinditwithpipe
hoop.
4. Puttherubberplugintotheothersideofdrainagepipe,fixitwithpipehoop
andthenfixitinthedrainagepipeclip.
