INTRODUCTION
The CMa35 optical eye is ideal for mobile readout and conguration of
meters with serial optical interface. Place the CMa35 with the magnet
on the serial optical interface of the meter and data transfer can start.

MOUNTING
Mount the CMa35 with the integrated magnet on the serial optical
interface on the meter. The USB connection should be connected to
a computer to start readout or conguration of the meter. Note that
the cable is detachable and can be exchanged with a cable of suitable
length.
OPERATION
The CMa35 is independent of the meter manufacturer and can be used
with any meter with serial optical interface on the market. The CMa35
does not need any specic software.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Make sure that:
1. A COM port for the CMa35 is created in the device manager.
2. The correct COM port is chosen in the computer software.
3. The CMa35 is correctly aligned with the meter’s optical interface.
