All persons responsible for tting, adjustment, and daily use of the devices
discussed in the these instructions must be familiar with and understand all safety
aspects of the devices mentioned. In order for our products to be used
successfully, you must read and understand all instructions and warnings, and
maintain our products according to our instructions on care and maintenance.
The installation instructions will guide you through this product’s options and
possibilities.
Instructions are written with the expressed intent of use with standard
congurations. They also contain important safety and maintenance information,
as well as describe possible problems that can arise during use. For further

Warranty
Our products are designed, manufactured, and produced to the highest of
standards. If any defect in material or workmanship is found, Stealth Products will
repair or replace the product at our discretion. Any implied warranty, including the
implied warranties of merchantability and tness for a particular purpose, shall not
extend beyond the duration of this warranty. Stealth Products does not warrant
damage due to, but not limited to: Misuse, abuse, or misapplication of product,
and/or modication of product without written approval from Stealth Products,
LLC. Any alteration or lack of serial number, where applicable, will automatically
void all warranty.
Stealth Products, LLC Is liable for replacement parts only. Stealth Products, LLC is
not liable for any incurred labor costs.
Stealth Products warrants against failure due to defective materials or
workmanship:

Intended Use
Design & Function
WARNING
Do not expose this product or its system to excessive heat,
such as an open ame or sparks.
Only a qualied service technician may install the UniLink Headrest Hardware and
its accessories.
UniLink
Preparations
A critical component of a properly tted head
support system, the UniLink Headrest Hardware is
intended to connect to the wheelchair’s back,
providing the user the necessary support and
stability for their neck and head.
Designed to be compatible with all Stealth
Products’ ball mount-based pads, UniLink’s link-
style hardware provides ample adjustment for
Stealth headrests. Multiple planes of adjustment for
posterior, anterior, and angle allow full surface
contact while accommodating postural anomalies,
and individual link adjustment capabilities isolate
planes and angles, providing reinforcement to even
the most complex head support solutions.
The UniLink Headrest Hardware increases a
user’s ability to successfully engage in daily
activities, as well as promotes upright posture and
the maintenance of a healthy head position.

Installation Plan
Set up a plan before beginning the installation.
This plan should take into account:
Where the UniLink Headrest Hardware will be placed, as well as applicable
attachments and accessories; and,
The amount of clearance necessary for other hardware and accessories.
Installation
Required Tools
Use the proper tools to install and adjust the UniLink Headrest Hardware to the
desired position for the user.

Included Fasteners
The seat back mount will be packaged with the following:
Two M6x1x18mm Button Head Screws with M6 nylon lock nuts; and,
Four M5x0.8x12mm Button Head Screws for mounting to seat backs with threaded
holes.
This selection of screws should accommodate your installation needs. If you have
trouble with the installation of the seat back mount, or have a question outside the
scope of this manual, please contact your supplier, or call us at the numbers listed
on the inside cover.
CAUTION
The use of improper tools may cause damage to the device. Not
tightening to the torque specication can cause components to fail
or cause the user discomfort.
For seat backs with two holes:
Place the seat back mount on the back of the seat and line up the center hole
on either side of the seat back mount with the holes in the seat. From the
front, insert the two M6 x 1 x 18 button head screws through the holes in the
seat back and through the mount. Thread the nylon lock nuts onto the screws
and tighten the mount to the back of the seat.
On seat backs with four threaded holes (image not shown):
Place the seat back mount on the back of the seat and line up the holes with
the threaded holes of the seat back. Use the M5 x 0.8 x 12mm button head
screws to secure the seat back mount to the seat back. Make sure the tips of
the screws do not protrude past the surface of the seat on the side opposite
the mount.
WARNING
An incorrect installation of UniLink headrest hardware or its accessories may
cause damage to the hardware and/or injury to the user.
CAUTION
Any connection must always be secured with all delivered screws.
Use only the screws provided in the package.
The installation of alternate or additional parts to a wheelchair could
Change its functional structure. Thoroughly assess whether
additional wheelchair safety features are necessary to maintain
chair stability and eectiveness.

Installation
Loosen the handle (A) of the seat back mount by turning it counterclockwise
and insert the headrest hardware shaft into the square receptacle.

If the shaft is too high or too low,
the stop collar (B) requires re-
positioning. Loosen it with the
M2 Hex Key and adjust the stop
collar to the desired position.
Tighten the set screw with the
M2 Hex Key to secure the stop
collar in position.
When the stop collar is in the
proper position and the shaft is
inserted fully into the seat back
mount, tighten handle (A) by
turning it clockwise until the
shaft is snug in the mount.
Making Adjustments
The UniLink Headrest Hardware can be
adjusted in three planes: depth, height and
angle. To adjust one of these planes,
loosen any of the three M5 screws using an
M4 Hex Key. Change the orientation of the
link and re-tighten the screw until snug.
To adjust depth, height, or
angle of the headrest, loosen
these three screws and re-
tighten them when the proper
location is reached.
CAUTION
Care should be taken when tightening fasteners. Over-tightening of
screws may lead to stripped threads and component failure.
This section covers installation of the following headrests on UniLink
headrest hardware.
Comfort Plus Series Adjustable
Comfort Plus Series Combo Series Tri-Comfort Plus
Series
To install a headrest to the
Unilink Headrest Hardware: Place the 17mm ball into the
designated socket in the rear
of the headrest.
Slip the split ring around the
17mm ball, notch facing
down.
Tighten screws with an M4 hex key, ensuring the screws are tightened
evenly and that the split ring is parallel with the mounting plate on the other
side of the 17mm ball.
Insert the four M5 x 0.8 x 14
socket head screws (B) through
the ring and into the threaded
holes in the rear of the headrest.
CAUTION
Never use this product to maneuver a chair or anything to which it is
attached. This product is intended only for its stated use.
This product should never be used as a support, lift, guide, handle, or
anything other than the instrument of its original function.

Comfort Plus Series
The Comfort Plus is a single pad headrest made for comfort and
ease of use.
Designed to:
Supply a resting position or support against gravity in tilt or recline.
Add a surface behind the head during automotive transportation.
Easily accommodate the addition of positioning components and accessories to
provide additional clinical interventions.
Simply allow additional lateral support pads and switches that are easily
congurable as needs change.
To discourage hooking of the head behind the pad, the CP550 19in. (482mm) pad
oers over-sized support.
Tri -Comfort Plus
Series
The Tri-Comfort Plus expands the features of the Comfort Plus with the
addition of angled lateral wings.
Designed to:
Supply a central posterior pad as a resting position or as a support against gravity
in tilt and recline.
Increase lateral control with side wings that oer help in keeping the head on the
center posterior support.
Add a surface behind the head during automotive transportation.
Easily accommodates the addition of positioning components and accessories to
provide additional clinical interventions.

Comfort Plus
Series
The Adjustable Comfort Plus combines all the features of the
Comfort Plus with an adjustable triple pad head support.
Designed to:
Supply a resting position, or support against gravity in tilt and
recline.
Provide individually adjustable side pads to help control lateral
exion.
Oer adjustable lateral support more than 45° from a at position.
Add necessary head support during automotive transport.
Easily accommodate the addition of position components and
accessories to provide extra clinical interventions.
Side pads that oer a range of individually adjustable angles to
meet support and positioning needs.
Discourage lateral exion while providing lateral support for low
tone clients.
The adjustment screws on this model are located under the cover. To adjust
them, unzip the zippers on the back of the headrest and refer to the directions
on the next model, “To Adjust the Combo Headrest” on Page 15.

Headrests
Merges many features of the Adjustable Comfort
Plus in a lower prole system with individually
adjustable bilateral wings. Its intuitive function lets
you set the shape and reliably hold the settings.
Designed to:
Provide a lower, thinner prole when necessary.
Oer standard and custom ear relief cut outs.
Allow reliable, individually adjustable side pads to control lateral exion.
Oer more than 45° lateral support adjustment from a at position.
Easily accommodate the addition of positioning components and
accessories to provide additional clinical interventions.
Combo Series
To Adjust the Combo Headrest:
Use an M4 Hex Wrench to loosen
the screw at the center of each
side hinge. Adjust the angle of
the pad and snug the screw to
secure the pad in place.
CAUTION
Do not place any item between the chair user and the support surface of the
seating system. Doing so may reduce product eectiveness and increase
risk of injury.
Dealer Assistance
During rst-time use by the user, it is advised that the dealer or service
technician not only assembles the product, but also explains the
conguration of user positioning to the user (i.e., the user and or the
attendant). If needed, the dealer can make nal adjustments.
User Testing
It is important that the customer is fully aware of the installation of the
UniLink Headrest Hardware, how to use it, and how it can be adjusted to
t the client comfortably. As a dealer, proceed as follows:
Explain and show the customer how you have executed the installation and
explain the function.
Have the user test the position of the UniLink Headrest Hardware.
Is the hardware in the proper position for the client?
Can all controls be operated safely and with minimal eort?
If needed, make any adjustments to the positioning.
Explain possible problems to the customer and how to address them.
Conditions of Use
The UniLink Headrest Hardware is intended for use as installed by the
dealer, in accordance to the installation instructions in this manual.
Ensure the foreseen conditions of use are communicated by the dealer or
service technician to the user and/or attendant during the rst-time use.
If usage conditions change signicantly, please contact your dealer or a
qualied service technician to avoid unintended damage.

First Time Use
Cleaning
To wash the covers of the headrests:
Remove the pad/cover from the headrest;
Machine wash in warm water on delicate cycle and drip dry.
Maintenance
Periodically check the hardware for loose screws or worn areas.
Check the pad/cover for any breakdown. If metal is protruding
through the cover or foam, discontinue use immediately and replace
the headrest.
Gently remove dust and dirt with a damp cloth.
