ViewManager3.1CPUDecoding 
Theliteralunderstandingistousesoftwaredecoding,butinfactitstillneedshardwareCPUsupport.Inthesoftware
decodingprocess,alargeamountofvideoinformationneedstobecalculated,sotheCPUperformancerequirementis
veryhigh,especiallyforhigh‐resolutionstreaming,themorechannelimages,thehighertheCPUusage.However,with
the compatibility and convenience of software decoding, as long as the CPU performance is strong and there is no
needformulti‐screenoutput,thecostofexternalgraphicscardscanbesaved.
ThenumberofchannelsdependsontheCPUcachespeed(multiplesplitscreen480P15FPS).


In the early days when monitoring computers have to display multiple channels, but the CPU performance is
insufficient, GPU decoding functions are used to greatly reduce the burden on the CPU and provide more analytic

graphicscardGPUisnolongerrequiredtoaidtheCPU.

Whenloginthesystem,theUserLogindialogueboxshowsup. Please choose the “Normal Mode” to login the
system.  Foradvancedusage,therearealsoLDAPandActiveDirectory(AD)modesforloginintothesystem.
BeforeLoginProfile
To create a user login profile, please click Save Profile button after entering Login Type and Username. This is to
simplytheloginprocess.  However,theusernameandpasswordneedtobepre‐createdbyasystemadministratorvia
UserManager.  PleaseseeUserManagementchapterforfurtherdetails.  ClickOKbuttontologintothesystem.

thecamerascreen,movethemousetothescannedIPcameraandthecamerainformationalongwiththesnapshot

Tomanagehundredsorthousandsofcameras,youcanusethedevicefiltertoquicklysearchforthedevice.Enterthe

improve the low‐light performance. In practical applications, when the infrared filter is disabled, the
