TMC (Traffic Message Channel) –is a

special application of the FM Radio Data

System (RDS). It continuously broadcasts

encoded traffic and weather information in

real-time, which is being received by the

TMC receiver. The Business Version of

the Navigation Kit NAVIGON Vers. 4

compares this data to the current route in

a matter of seconds and calculates an

alternative route if necessary.
