Before start-up, note the following:

with water only.

uids, especially not fuels, cleaning uids,
or other chemical products.

UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure
that the item is intact and undamaged. If
any parts are missing or broken, please
call Harbor Freight Tools at the number
shown on the cover of this manual as soon
as possible.
INSTALLATION
Use the Nozzle Adapters and Exten-1.
sion Tubes to construct a tube that
will rise one to three inches above the
surface of the water.
The Nozzle Adapters, Extension 2.
Tubes, and Fountain Heads, can be
assembled in a variety of different
ways to construct the length of tube
and desired spray pattern that suits
the needs of the fountin best.
Push the tube onto the top of the 3.
Pump.
Press a Fountain Head on top of the 4.
tube.
Route the cord of the Pump to an 5.
area that receives consistent sunlight.

Fill the fountain with water. If the 7.
water level sinks too low, any sludge
in the shaft will dry out and may stop
the pump from starting.
Attach the Solar Panel to the cord of 8.

OPERATION:
Unplug the Pump from the
Solar Panel before performing
any inspection, maintenance,
or cleaning procedures.
BEFORE EACH USE,1. inspect the
general condition of the unit. Check
for misalignment or binding of moving
parts, cracked or broken parts, dam-
aged wiring, and any other condition
that may affect its safe operation.
PERIODICALLY, 2. remove the cover
of the Pump and clean out the intake
vents. Remove the cap on the Pump
to clean out the impeller.

tool with clean cloth.
