GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for future reference, along
with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton. The safety precautions enclosed
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to.
Follow all instructions and take notice of all warnings to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.
This appliance is intended for household use only.

IMPORTANT!

CAUTION!
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment and power adaptor to rain
or moisture; do not use it anywhere near water or where water splashes or drips; do not touch the
plug with wet hands.
In the event of water or other liquids entering the device, unplug it immediately and clean and dry it
as best as possible. Then have it checked for damage by a qualified technician or contact the after-
sales support line.
• Do not repair the unit yourself. Only have it serviced by qualified personnel. Contact the after-sales
support line for advice.
• Unplug the unit from the power outlet after use to avoid possible damage during electrical storms,
or when the equipment will be unattended or unused for an extended period.
• Do not let the cord on the power adaptor hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any
hot surface. Do not allow anything to rest on or roll over the power adaptor and run any cords so
that no one steps on or trips over them.
• Do not run the power adaptor near heat-producing appliances such as radiators, stoves or irons.
Excessive heat could melt insulation and expose live wires.
• Always grasp the plug on the power adaptor, not the cord, when disconnecting the unit. Pulling the
cord can damage the internal wires and may cause a fire.
Electrical safety:
• To prevent contact with high voltage components inside,
do not attempt to open the equipment.
• Before installing this equipment, make sure your outlet
voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the appliance rating label.
• When connecting the equipment, align the plug on the power adaptor properly and insert it fully
to prevent electric shock.
Battery and power adaptor:
• If the power adaptor is damaged, do not use it. Contact the after-sales support line for advice.
• Only use this equipment with the power adaptor supplied, and do not overload the power outlet.
To prevent a battery explosion:
Only replace the battery with the same type or equivalent type of battery by a qualified
service technician.
Do not use the speaker in areas of extreme heat, fire or areas with exposure to direct
sunlight.
Installation:
When installing the unit, make sure to place it:
• Away from heat sources, radiators or other products that produce heat.
• Away from areas with hot temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight.
• Away from excess dirt and dust.
• Away from open windows and any place where water may get into the unit and damage it.
• Make sure there is free circulation of air around the unit. Do not place it on a thick carpet, a bed or
any place where ventilation holes are obstructed. Leave at least 10cm clearance around the unit.
Usage conditions and restrictions:
• Do not place heavy objects on top of the equipment or step on it.
• Do not place objects filled with water (such as vases) or any naked flame sources (such as lit
candles, incense sticks or cigarettes) on top of the unit.
• The equipment is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the equipment by a person responsible for their safety.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the equipment. Close
supervision is always necessary when an appliance is used by or near children.
• We assume no liability for any damage caused by noncompliance with these instructions or any
other improper use or mishandling of the equipment.
GETTING STARTED
Before first use:
• The unit may become hot during operation. Always leave sufficient space around the unit for
ventilation.
• Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or close to any sources of heat. Also avoid locations subject
to vibrations and excessive dust, heat, cold or moisture.
• Do not expose the unit to water.
• Do not place the unit on an amplifier or receiver.
• Do not open the cabinet as this might result in damage to the circuits or an electric shock. If a
foreign object gets into the unit, contact your dealer or service company.
Cleaning:
• Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Do not clean the unit with chemical solvents as this may damage the finish. Use a clean, dry cloth.
• Do not submerge the unit or power adaptor in water.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
To charge the battery:
Connect the power adaptor to the speakers DC in socket.
If the speaker is turned off, it will charge but no indication will be shown on the screen.
If the speaker is turned on, the battery icon on the display screen will be illuminated and show that it
is charging.
When the battery has completed charging, it will be ‘steady’ on the display screen. The battery icon
will show 3 bars when it has completed charging.
When the charge lead is removed from the charging socket on the speaker, the speaker will operate
off battery power.
As the battery power decreases, the battery icon will show 2 bars and then 1 bar.
When the battery is flat, the battery icon will show 3 bars and will flash on the display screen.
When the battery is very flat, there may be distortion on the sound being played back or the sound
will drop in and out. Not all of the buttons/controls/functions on the speaker will be functional. If
this occurs, please connected the speaker to the power adaptor to charge it.
The battery will take 2 hours to fully charge.
Playback time on the battery is for 2.5 3 hours at 50% volume.
If the speaker sound is louder, the battery time is decreased.

CONTROLS
1. Menu button: Press to switch between the volume of microphone / microphone echo/ Guitar

2. Previous button: press to play the previous music track
3. Play/Pause button: press to pause music playback, press again to resume music playback
4. Next button: press to play the next music track
5. Mode: press to change between different music playback modes
6. Rec button: used to record music playing back to a USB stick
7. Multi vol: rotate this dial to adjust the mic vol, guitar vol and echo
8. Master vol: rotate this dial to increase or decrease volume

REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control takes 2 x AAA sized batteries (not included). Insert the batteries into the battery
compartment in the remote control as per the polarity indicated.
Mute: Press to mute sound, press again to un-mute sound
Mode: Press to change between the different playback modes on the
speaker
REC: For use when recording from mic in/guitar in
REC play: For use to playback mic in/guitar recordings
VOL +: press to increase playback volume
VOL-: press to decrease playback volume
CH- І: Press to charge to previous radio station or previous music
track
CH+: І: Press to change to next radio station or next music track
►║SCAN: Press to pause music playback, press again to resume music
playback. When using the FM radio, press to scan radio stations
Repeat button: press to repeat the current music track
Menu: Press to switch between the volume of microphone /
microphone echo/ Guitar Volume
Numerical buttons: use to play a particular music track when playing
back from USB stick or micro SD card. Type in the music track number to
play that numbered track.
FUNCTIONS
Bluetooth:
Press the mode button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
Open the Bluetooth settings on your Bluetooth device (e.g.: smart phone). Look for the Bluetooth
name BT9378 and pair.
Begin music playback from the Bluetooth device.
AUX:
Press the mode button to switch to Aux in mode.
Connect an Aux in lead (not included) to the aux in port on the speaker to the earphone socket of
your device (e.g.: MP3 player, smart phone or CD player with an earphone jack). Begin music
playback on your device. The sound will come through the speaker
USB:
Add a USB stick to the USB port. The speaker will detect that a USB stick has been added and will
begin music playback from it. The speaker will only playback MP3 music files on the stick. It cannot
read MP4 music files.
TF card:
Add a memory card to the TF card slot on the speaker. The speaker will detect that a memory card
has been added and will begin music playback from it. The speaker will only playback MP3 music
files on the card. It cannot read MP4 music files.
FM radio:
Press the model button to switch to FM radio mode.
Press and hold the play/pause button for two seconds.
The speaker will then search for local radio stations and scan them into the radio. They will be saved
into pre-set memory positions.
When radio stations have been scanned in and saved, use the previous and next buttons on the
speaker to change to a different radio station.
Menu:
Press the menu button to change between controlling the MIC VOL/GUI VOL/ECHO.
The display will show:
MIC VOL: t GUI VOL: g ECHO: E
Then use the multi vol control dial to adjust the mic vol, guitar vol and echo.
Both a corded microphone and a guitar can be used at the same time.
But two corded microphones or two guitars can not be used at the same time.
Multi vol dial:
Use the multi vol control dial to adjust the mic vol, guitar vol and echo.
Mic 1 socket:
Connect a microphone to this socket to sing along to music tracks.
Mic 2 socket:
Connect a guitar input to this socket to play along to music tracks.
Corded microphone operation:
Insert the microphone into the microphone socket.
Prompt or sing into the microphone for amplification.
Use the multi vol dial to adjust the mic volume. Press the menu button and when ‘t’ is shown on the
screen, use the multi vol dial to adjust the mic volume.
Record from mic (in socket) or guitar:
The Bluetooth speaker allows you to record your voice from mic input (when using a corded
microphone not included) or sound from guitar input. If both are connected at the same time, they
will both have sound recorded.
Connect the corded mic to the mic 1 socket to record voice.
Connect the guitar input to the mic 2 socket to record guitar.
To record both at the same time, ensure both the mic and the guitar are connected.
The voice recordings can be saved onto a micro card or a USB stick.
Ensure a micro SD card is inserted into the TF card slot, or a USB stick is inserted into the USB port.
If both are inserted, the recordings will save onto USB stick only.
Ensure the unit is in aux in mode, with no aux in device connected.
Press the rec button on the unit to begin recording.
The speaker will say the words ‘recording mode. The speaker will begin recording, the recording
time will show on the display screen.
Speak/sing into the mic or play the guitar.
When you need to stop recording, press and hold the REC button for two seconds.
The speaker will stop recording.
The word REC will show on the display screen. Press the play button on the speaker to playback the
recording.
To do another recording, put the speaker into AUX in mode and press the REC button to record.
The file recorded will be saved on the USB stick and will be saved in MP3 format.
UHF wireless microphone:
The Bluetooth speaker come with 1 x UHF wireless microphone
To use the UHF microphone, add 2 x AA batteries (not included) to the battery compartment in the
microphone as per the polarity indicated.
Then, just turn on the Bluetooth speaker and turn on the mic.
The voice will be heard through the speaker when you speak into the microphone.
To adjust the mic volume, press the menu button. When ‘t’ (MIC VOL) is shown on the display screen
on the speaker, turn the multi vol dial.
The sound from the UFH wireless microphone can also be recorded onto USB stick/micro SD card.
The UHF wireless microphone can work together with a corded microphone and the guitar input.
Lights:
The speaker features coloured lights which will pulse and flash according to the beat of the music
track being played.
The lights can not be turned off or controlled, the display is random.
