etion of the installation, these instructions should be left with the Engineer-in-
Charge for
reference during servicing. Further to this, The Users Instructions should be
handed over to the User,
having had a demonstration of the operation and cleaning of the
appliance.

4.Installation
Falconinductioncookersareoftheplug&playtype,whichisreadyforuseafterpowerandwater
supplies(ifnecessary)areconnected.
4.1HeatRadiationRequirements
Adequatespaceshallbeleftinthebackandbottomoftheunittoallowfreeflowof
air.
Improperinstallationwillresultinblockageordecreaseofairflowandpoorradiationof
heat;
Theairinletandoutletshouldbeatleast100mmfromanyperipheralobject
(suchaswallandfloor);
Theinletcoldairshouldnotbemixedwiththeoutlethot
air;
Theinletairtemperatureshouldnotexceed40Ԩ;
Theinductioncooker(steamer)shouldbeawayfromotherheatsources(suchasgascooker
orhalogenstove).Incaseseveralinductioncookersareused,theyshouldbeatleast
100mmapartfromeachother.Besides,itshould
beensuredthatthereissufficientsupply
ofcoldairandthehotairdischargedbycookerswillnotenterothercookers.
4.2FirePrevention
Allobjectsincontactwiththecooker(steamer)shouldbemadeofnoninflammablematerials.
4.3RequirementsonElectricalConnection
Checkandmakesure
thatthepowersupplyisconsistentwiththeratingonthenameplate
oftheproduct;
Theelectricalconnectionmustcomplywithexistingnationalandlocalregulations;
Theelectricalcableoftheproductmustbeconnectedtothepowersupplywithan
appropriateplug;
Incaseleakage
protectionisadopted,themaximumcircuitbreakingcurrentis30mA.

5.Troubleshooting
Warning:Thereishighvoltageinside!Donotopenthecooker!
Thecookercanonlybeopenedbyauthorizedservicingpersonnel.
Incasetheglassceramicpanelbreaksorcracks,immediatelyswitchoffthecookeranddisconnect
thepower.Nevertouchanyexposedpartinsidethecooker.

Placetheunitattheinstallationplace.Payattentiontotheventilationconditions.
Connectthecabletothe
terminalblockorCircuitbreakeraccordingtothelabelling.
Allconnectionsmustbesecure.

OperatingInstructions:
Afterthedeviceispoweredonandthereisnoabnormalindication,itisreadyforuse.
Operateaccordingtothefollowingsteps:
Placeawok/panwhichisrecommendedbythemanufactureron
thecookerandaddthe
appropriateamountofwater.Theinstructionsforappliancesincorporatinginductionheating
sourcesshallindicatethesizeofthesmallestcookingvesseltobeused.
Switchonthepower,theindicatorwillgoon.
Dependingonthefoodtobecooked,turnthe
knobslowlytoanappropriatepositionbetween
“0”and“Max”.Acorrespondingnumberwillbeshownontheindicator.
Afteruse,turnthehandleto“Off”andcutoffthepower.

operationoftheinductioncooker.Negligenceofsuchinformationmayleadtoharmstopeople,
environmentandequipment,aswellaspotentialrisksasfollows:

7.2SafetyNotes
Thesafetyinstructionscontainedinthismanual,theapplicablenational regulationsonthe
preventionofaccidentsaswellasuser’sinternalsafetyrulesmustbestrictlyobserved.
7.3NoticetoUser
Topreventelectricalshocks,the
installationandelectricalconnectionoftheinduction
cookermustbeperformedbyaqualifiedcontractoraspernationalandlocalregulations.
Theheatingzonehashightemperature.Toavoidinj ury(scalding),donottouchthisarea.
Toavoiddryheating(glowing)ofwok/pan,don’tleavetheapplianceon
unattended.
Forthesakeofsafety,switchthepoweroff.
Topreventaccidentscausedbyautomaticheatingofwok/pan,switchoffthecooker before
removingthewok/pan.Donotrelyonthepandetector.Thisensuresthatanyonewho
wantstousethecookermustswitchit
onhim/herself.
Don’tinsertanypieceofpaper,cardboard,cloth,etc.betweenthewok/panandtheheating
area,asthismayinitiateafire. 
Donotplacemetallicobjectssuchaskitchenutensils,cutlery,cans,aluminiumfoilandkeys
onthehobsurfacewithinthecookingzone
becausesuchthingscanbeheatedupquickly.
Donotwearwatchesandringsastheseobjectscanbeheatedupwhenincloseproximity
tothehobsurface.
Peoplewithheartpacemakersshouldconsultwiththemanufacturerorphysicianbefore
usingtheinductioncooker.
The
entireunitmustbereliablygrounded.Oncethecookerbodyorelectriccableis
foundbroken,immediatelyswitchtheunitoff,disconnectthepowerandcontactthe
manufactureroritsauthorizedservicingpersonnel.
Donotplacealuminiumfoilorplasticutensilsontheglassceramicsurfaceintheheating

zonenoruseitasstorage.

Thecontactsurfaceofwok/panmustmatchthatoftheglassceramicpanel;otherwise,
Itmayleadtoreducedperformance,malfunctionandevendamagetotheinductioncooker.
Therefore,onlythosewoks/panssuppliedorrecommendedbythemanufacturercanbe
used.(Wokdia meter:360mm,Minimalpandiameter:
220mm,ferrousorcompoundsteel
bottom)
Don’tplacecreditcards,phonecards,passengercards,cassettetapesorothermagnetic
objectsonthesurfaceoftheinductioncooker.
Thereisaircoolingsystemintheinductioncooker.Toavoidoverheatinginducedshutdown,
donotblocktheair
vents.
Donotletanyliquidenterthecooker.Donotspillwaterorfoodoverthewok/pan.
Donotflushthecookerwithwater.Donotcleanthecookerwithasteamcleaner.
Incasetheglassceramicpanelbreaksorcracks,immediatelyswitchoffthecooker
and
disconnectthepower.Nevertouchanyexposedpartinsidethecooker.
Operationbeyondtheratedvaluesandlimitsoftheinductioncookerwillresultinunreliable
operationandevendamage.Itisadvisedthatthecookeroperateatfullpower,i.e.the
powerregulatorissetto
themaximumscale.Selectbetween“1”and“3”whenslowfireis
required.
Neverturntheinductioncookeronandofffrequentlywithoutanypurposeasthismay
causedamagetotheelectricalcircuitandshortentheservicelifeofthecooker.Normally,
thecookershouldnotbe
restartedwithin3secondsafteritisshutdown.
Theinductioncookershouldbecleaned,maintainedandservicedonaregularbasistokeep
itingoodconditionandextenditsservicelife.
Thereishighvoltageinsidethecooker.Itcanonly beopenedbyauthorizedservicing
personnel.
Toavoidmisuse,alldiscardedelectricaldevicesmustbedisposedofsafelyandproperly
bytheuser.
Thereisasmallareaatthebottomcentreofthewok/panthatheats slowly.
Toensurethatoilisevenlyheated,stirtheoilinthewok/pan.
Theceranglasspanel,enclosure,wok/pan,tub,potandpotsupportoftheinduction
cookerareoutsidethewarrantyscope.
7.4UnauthorizedChange andPartReplacement
Donotmakeanychangetotheinductioncooker.Iftheinductioncookerneedstobechanged,
pleasecontactthemanufacturer.Forsafety’s
sake,pleaseusepartsandcomponentscertifiedbythe
manufacturer.Useofanyuncertifiedpartsandcomponentswillvoidallthecommitmentsand
warrantiesofthemanufacturer.

cleanerssuchasgrillspray,detergentpowder,deruster,polishingpowderorcoarsespongetoclean
thepanel.

Tokeeptheinductioncookeringoodconditionandextenditsservicelife,itshouldbecleaned,
maintainedandservicedonaregularbasis.
Thefilteroftheinductioncookermustbecleanedatleastonceeverythreemonths.
Theinductioncookermustbecheckedby
authorizedtechnicalpersonnelatleastonceayear.
