Introduction
Acknowledgements
Thank you for choosing CONNECT A7 3G. This product belongs to A7 range
of Tablets manufactured by GSC Ltd., which is a delicate, small and
portable mobile internet device. The device is equipped with a piece of
touch LCD screen, which can be used to watch videos and pictures. It
supports 3G and 2G data transfer and calling functions and general
installation of multiple application programs on office and entertainment.
The fantastic operation interface will give you a brand-new user
experience.
This manual systematically introduces diversified functions, using skills and
matters needing attention of this A7 3G, please read this manual carefully
before using it.
Precautions
Maintenance and Curing
Please keep the device dry. Please don’t let the device, battery and
charger contact water and water vapor or operate device or charger
with wet hand to avoid short circuit of the device, breakdown caused by
corrosion and electric shock of personnel.
Please don’t let the device, battery and charger receive strong impact
or shock to prevent breakdown and damage.
Please don’t place the device, battery and charger in regions with too
high or too low temperature, or it might lead to breakdown, catching
fire, or explosion of device, battery or charger.
Please don’t hit, throw, drop or bend the A7 3G.
Please don’t dismantle the device and its accessories by yourself, or this
will result that the device and its accessories will be out of the warranty
scope.
Safety Notice
Before using A7 3G, please read the information in this section, and make
your children learn about the information. About more detailed information,
please refer to safety instructions.
Please don’t use A7 3G when you are driving.
In medical places, please observe relevant stipulations and regulations.

And in regions near the medical devices, please shutdown A7 3G.
Please shutdown A7 3G or enable the airplane mode when boarding, so
that the wireless signals will not interfere control signal of the airplane.
Please shutdown A7 3G when getting close to electronic equipments
with high accuracy, otherwise, breakdown of electronic equipments
may be brought about.
Please don’t dismantle the A7 3G and its accessories on yourself.
Please keep A7 3G far away from magnetic equipment, radiation from
A7 3G will erase information stored on the magnetic equipment.
Please don’t use A7 3G in places with high temperature and
inflammable gas (such as nearby gas station).
Please put A7 3G and its accessories in places beyond children’s touch
and please don’t let children use A7 3G without supervision.
During using of A7 3G, please observe related laws and regulations,
respect privacy and legitimate rights of others.
Please strictly abide by relevant explanations in this manual when using
USB data line, otherwise, the A7 3G or the personal computer may be
damaged.
Please don’t use the A7 3G in humid environment such as bathroom,
etc., and avoid to the A7 3G being soaked or rinsed by liquid.

1.3 Install SIM card and SD card
SIM card
Install SIM card
Locate the SIM card slot, and then insert the SIM card with its gold contacts
facing down and its cut-off corner facing out the card slot.
Remove SIM card
To remove the SIM card, please turning off the product, or it will be damage to
SIM card.
SD card
You need a SD card to store photos, music, video and other data.
Install SD card
Locate the SD card slot, and then insert the SD card with its gold contacts
facing down and its cut-off corner facing out the card slot
Remove SD card
1. Please make sure to disconnect the SD card and device.
Click > (Settings) > Storage > Unmount SD card
2. Open the SD card protection cover.

Use your fingertips to tap the SD card, SD card from the slot in the
pop-up.

1.4 Charging and headphones
Charging
When the battery is charging, the icon appears in the status bar.
When the battery is fully charged, the
icon appears in the status bar.
Headphones
When the user wants to use headsets or listening to music, plug the
headset into the headphone jack, the icon
appears in the status bar.
Note:
When using headphones, you hearing to the outside sounds may be
limited.
When it is a threat to your safety, please do not use headphones.
When using headphones, please do not set the volume to the
maximum, because it may damage your hearing.
1.5 Turning On/Off
Turning On
Press and hold power key to turning on the product, it takes about 30
seconds to enter the main screen.
Turning Off
Press and hold power key , Pop-up "Device Options" menu, Click Shut
Down. Select OK in the pop-up menu.
Standby
1. If you do not unlock within a long time (about 10 seconds) , device will
automatic dark screen.
2. Light up the screen by pressing any side buttons.
3. Hold and slide up the green lock icon to the ceiling to unlock; you can also
press the menu key to unlock.

Chapter 2 - Basic Operation
2.1 Home Screen
Main screen contains five screens, horizontal sliding switch to the extended
screen.

Menu : Open the application menu.
Google Search
: Use google search.
The main screen icon
: Back to the main screen.
Back icon
: Return to the previous operation screen.
Daemon icon
: Recently used applications, click the desired
application can be opened.

Status bar will display various status information. You can click to
turn off the status bar.

Shortcuts
To customize different home screen, you can add apps shortcut; reposition
the shortcut.
Click
to open the application menu, long-press and drag the icon to
be added to the main screen.
Widgets
You can add a clock, music player and calendar widgets on the main
screen.

Wallpapers
1. Touch and hold on home screen, popup dialog box.
Click “Gallery” Can select the system your own pictures as wallpapers.
Click “Live Wallpapers” Can select the system live wallpapers as
wallpapers.
Click “Wallpapers” Can select the system pictures as wallpapers.

Touch screen
Steps:
1. Short Press touch screen: Use the tip of your finger to press exactly on
the touch key you want, being careful not to touch the keys for other
functions.
2. Long press touch screen: Press for more than 1.5 seconds to get into the
submenu.
3. Drag: Press and hold the scroll bar and drag up or down. On some
screens such as web pages, you can also scroll side to side.
4. Zoom: when you view page, you can double-click the screen to zoom in
or out the page.

2.3 People
You can save contacts, phone numbers and e-mail and other related
content.
New contact
Steps > (People)> (new contact)
1. Enter your contact’s information.
2. Click “DONE” to save the contact.
Edit contacts/ Delete contacts
Edit contacts:

Chapter 3 - Using the device
3.1 Phone
Make a phone call
1. > (Phone).
2. Press the number keys, enter the phone number.
3. Click , make a call.
4. When the call is completed, press the hang up to end the call.

Receive calls

Handsfree
You can use the handsfree to ensure traffic safety while driving.
Use hands-free speaker / microphone device / Bluetooth headset to make and
receive calls.
Mute
During a call, you can make the other side can not hear your voice.
Press the mute, turn on or turn off mute.
Telephone conference
1. > (Phone).
2. Press the number keys to input the number of the first person.
3. Outgoing calls.

The other party answers, click .
5. Press the number keys to enter the next party calls and outgoing calls.

to connect the two sides call.
Call history
You can view the received calls, missed calls, dialed calls and other
information in the call history.

Emergency call
1. > (Phone), If the device is locked, click Emergency Call.
2. Press the number keys to enter the emergency number.
Note1.
Different countries have different emergency call numbers, so the
emergency call number in your device is not effective in all regions. Sometimes
due to network, environmental, or interference with the impact of events, an
emergency call may not call.

Write messages
Steps > Messaging> new message
