i3 International New Radiant HESS Installation guide

Difference from the previous POS version:

Faster communication speed between Radiant Cash Register and Pole Display.

1. Cable MDB9-RJ12-2. Pole display connection. Same as before, no change.

2. COM port settings on DVR:

- COM settings on Windows: no need to change

- COM settings on PACDM system setup:

Baud rate = 115200, Data bits = 8, Parity = None, Stop bit = 1,

Flow control = None.

3. PACDM patch:

ftp://pacdm:[email protected]/Patches file name

V7.01_Radiant(Hess)_Patch.zip.

4. PACDM Template. 1.00_Radiant(Hess).tpl

Instructions:

1. Exit Server application (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F4).

2. From Windows desktop run the corresponding patch.

- V7.01_Radiant(Hess)_Patch(SRX).exe for SRX systems

- V7.01_Radiant(Hess)_Patch(SRXPRO).exe for SRX Pro systems with PACDM

- V7.14_Radiant(Hess)_Patch(SRXPRO).exe for SRX Pro systems with PACDM

3. Start Server application

4. Open PACDM window

5. In PACDM system setup select the COM port, change Baud Rate settings

to 115200 and other port settings if necessary on Communication tab,

select Template (1.00_Radiant(Hess).tpl).

6. Save settings.
