Quick start guide
This quick start guide contains important information on the safe use of the product.
Read and follow the safety instructions and all other instructions. Retain the quick start
guide for future reference. If you pass the product
on to others, please include this quick start guide.

Installation
1. Align the pick-up so the cable is pointing towards the bridge (ö).
2. Insert the pick-up into the sound hole on the side of the high E string.
3. Move the pick-up onto the edge of the sound hole below the low E string in such a
way that the edge enters the lateral recess on the pick-up.
4. Align the lateral recess under the high E string under the edge of the sound hole as
well and let the edge enter the recess (#).
5. Vary the alignment of the pick-up to generate the sound you require ($).

Intended use
This product serves as a pick-up for acoustic string instruments. Any other use or use under
other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury
or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damage resulting from improper use.
Risk of injury and choking hazard for children!
Children can suocate on packaging material and small parts. Children can in-
jure themselves when handling the device. Never allow children to play with
the packaging material and the device. Always store packaging material out of
the reach of babies and small children. Always dispose of packaging material
properly when it is not in use. Never allow children to use the device without
supervision. Keep small parts away from children and make sure that the de-
vice does not shed any small parts (such as knobs) that children could play
with.
Operating location
Do not ever use this product:
• in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
• in extremely dusty or dirty places
• in locations where the device may get wet
General handling
• To prevent damage, do not exert force when handling the product.
• Do not immerse the product in water. Wipe only with a clean and dry cloth. Do not use
liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or ammable cleaning agents
• Not suitable for guitars with nitro lacquer or shellac. If left on instruments with a poly-
ester nish, the lack of light irradiation at the mounting point can cause light-related
discolouration on the instrument.

Environmentally friendly materials have been chosen for the packaging. These materials
can be sent for normal recycling. Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of
in the proper manner. Do not just dispose of these materials with your normal house-
hold waste, but make sure that they are collected for recycling. Please follow the instruc-
tions and markings on the packaging.
This product is subject to the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Di-
rective (WEEE) as amended. Do not dispose of your old device with your normal house-
hold waste. Dispose of the product through an approved waste disposal rm or
through your local waste management facility. When disposing of the device, comply
with the rules and regulations that apply in your country. If in doubt, consult your local
waste management facility.
