is produced directly in the interior of the dish,

SPECIAL NOTICE FOR THOSE WITH PACEMAKERS AND/OR ACTIVE IMPLANTS:
This cooker operates in compliance with currently applicable standards concerning
electromagnetic disturbances.
Thus your induction appliance perfectly satisfies all legal requirements (89/336/EEC directives). It
was designed not to disturb the functioning of other electrical appliances so long as they are also
compliant with these same regulations.
YYoouurr iinndduuccttiioonn ccooookkeerr ggeenneerraatteess mmaaggnneettiicc ffiieellddss iinn iittss iimmmmeeddiiaattee ssuurrrroouunnddiinnggss..
In order to avoid interference between your cooking hob and a pacemaker, your pacemaker must
be designed and programmed in compliance with the regulations that apply to it.
Consequently, we can only guarantee that our own product is compliant. With regard to the
compliance of the pacemaker or any potential incompatibility, you can obtain information from
the manufacturer or your attending physician
Warning
- If a crack appears in the glass worktop, immediately disconnect your appliance to
avoid the risk of electric shock.
To do this, remove the fuses or use the circuit breaker.
Do not use your hob until you have replaced the glass worktop.
- The top of your cooker should not be used as a resting place for anything.
- When cooking, never use aluminium paper and never place products wrapped in aluminium
or frozen foods packaged in aluminium containers directly on the hob.
The aluminium will melt and permanently damage your cooking appliance.
- Do not use a steam cleaner.

• A sensor constantly monitors the temperature of the parts of your induction zones. If this
temperature becomes too elevated, the output produced by the hob will automatically be
decreased.
• Merely removing the cookware from a zone will instantly halt the production of heat by that
induction zone. Then you simply reset that induction hob to position 0, “Off”, to definitively
deactivate the cooking zone. When cookware has been removed for one minute, the cooking
zone turns off definitively. It is then possible to reset this cooking zone by turning it to position 0,
“Off” and choosing a setting to begin again.
EEMMPPTTYY SSAAUUCCEEPPAANN SSAAFFEETTYY
Each heating zone is equipped with a safety device that constantly detects the temperature of the
heating zone. Thus there is no risk of overheating caused by empty cookware.
MMEETTAALL OOBBJJEECCTT SSAAFFEETTYY
A small-sized object, such as a small saucepan, a fork, a spoon or even a ring, placed
aalloonnee
on
the top of your cooker is not detected as a piece of cookware. The light flashes gently and no
power is produced.
RREESSIIDDUUAALL HHEEAATT IINNDDIICCAATTOORR
After intensive use, the cooking zone may remain hot for a few minutes. The light flashes slowly
during this period. Avoid touching the hot areas during this time.
AAUUTTOOMMAATTIICC SSTTOOPP
Automatic stop is a safety feature of your cooker.
It is automatically activated if the user forgets to turn off the cooker:
The light for the heating zone in use flashes quickly. The light will continue to flash until you return
the setting for this cooking zone to position 0, “Off”. A double beep will confirm this action.

are assigned to each cooking zone. They
allow for 10 heat settings; “Zero” (0) is the “Off” position; “Ten” (10) is
the position that generates the most power.
• Powering on
Locate the knob that corresponds to the cooking zone you are going
to use.
Adjusting the power
You can adjust the setting at any time during the cooking process by changing the power
setting.

If an on/off light is flashing:
- There is no cookware on the cooking zone.
- The cookware placed on the zone is unsuitable for induction cooking (See “Choosing
induction-safe pots and pans”).
- The pot or pan is too off-centre from the cooking zone.
When you are using one of the induction zones, if you remove your saucepan, after one minute
the light begins flashing quickly and the cooking zone stops heating.

without anti-stick coating.
• Cookware in cast iron with or without

An enamelled bottom prevents your hob’s
glass top from being scratched.
• Cookware in stainless steel adapted for
induction.
Most stainless steel cookware is compatible
if it passes the cookware test. (saucepans,
Dutch ovens, pans, deep fryers, etc.)
• Aluminium cookware with special bottoms.
Cookware without flat bottoms can work, but
they cannot be too misshapen.
By choosing cookware that displays this
logo on its bottom or on its packaging,
you can be certain that it is perfectly
compatible with your hob under normal
operating conditions.
To help you choose, a list of utensils is
provided in this booklet.

earthenware, aluminium (without specialised
bottom), copper and some types of non-
magnetic stainless steel are
