WORK AREA
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the pres-
ence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which
may ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way.
Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools.
Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radia-
tors, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed or grounded.
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power
tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
4
CAUTION used without the safety alert symbol
indicates a potentially hazardous situation which,
if not avoided, may result in property damage.
NOTE provides additional information that is useful
for proper use and maintenance of this tool. If a
NOTE is indicated make sure it is fully understood.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR
FUTURE REFERENCE.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
People with electronic devices, such as pacemakers, should consult their
physician(s) before using this product. Operation of electrical equipment in
close proximity to a heart pacemaker could cause interference or failure of
the pacemaker.
WARNING: Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and
other construction activities contains chemicals known to the State of California
to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints.
• Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products,
and arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type
of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated
area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are
specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California
to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
3
Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the
power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing
power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the
power tool accidentally.
Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power
tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many acci-
dents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with
sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended
could result in a hazardous situation.
Use auxiliary handles (if) supplied with the tool. Loss of control can cause
personal injury.
SERVICE
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only iden-
tical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.
Follow instructions in the Maintenance section of this manual. Use of unau-
thorized parts or failure to follow Maintenance Instructions may create a risk of
shock or injury.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES AND/OR SYMBOLS
Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces,
when performing an operation where the fastener may contact hidden
wiring or its own cord. Fasteners contacting “live” may make exposed
metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric
shock.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operat-
ing a power tool. Do not use tool while tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools
may result in serious personal injury.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, cloth-
ing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair
can be caught in moving parts.
Prevent accidental starting. Ensure switch is in the “OFF” position before
connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the
tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power
tools that have the switch “ON” invites accidents.
Remove adjusting keys or wrenches before turning the tool “ON”. A wrench or a
key that is left attached to a rotating part of the tool may result in personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables
better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dusk mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protec-
tion used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
Wear ear protectors with impact drills. Exposure to noise can cause hearing
loss.
If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collec-
tion can reduce dust-related hazards.
POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application.
The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it
was designed.
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be
repaired.

SAFETY RULES FOR IMPACT WRENCHES
Always wear safety goggles or eye protection when using this tool. Use a
dust mask or respirator for applications which generate dust.
Do not grasp the tool or place your hands too close to the spinning chuck or
drill bit. Your hand may be lacerated or may cause injury.
Secure the material being worked on. Never hold it in your hand or across
your legs. Unstable support can cause loss of control and injury.
Position yourself to avoid being caught between the tool or side handle and
walls or posts. Should the socket or bit become bound in the work, the reac-
tion torque of the tool could crush your hand or leg.
Check to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the Impact
Wrench before switching the tool “ON”. Keys or wrenches can fly away at high
velocity striking you or a bystander.
When using the Impact Wrench, always maintain a firm grip on the tool with
both hands.
Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation
where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring. Contact with a "live" wire
will also make exposed metal parts of the tool "live" and shock the operator.
Keep the handle of the Impact Wrench dry, clean, and free from oil and
grease.
Do not run the Impact Wrench while carrying it at your side. A spinning sock-
et or bit could become entangled with clothing and injury may result.
Do not use the Impact Wrench if it has been damaged, left outdoors in the
rain, snow, wet or damp environments, or immersed in liquid.
Maintain labels and nameplates on the Impact Wrench. These carry impor-
tant information. If unreadable or missing, contact Alltrade for a replacement.
Use with 12 volt systems only.
Performance of this tool may vary depending on varia-
tions in battery power.

INSTALLING / REMOVING SOCKET ON THE ANVIL
When removing the socket or bit from the tool, avoid
contact with skin and use proper protective gloves when grasping the socket,
bit or accessory. Accessories may be hot after prolonged use.
When installing a socket,
align the holes in the side of
the socket with the dent pin.
Press the socket on until the
dent pin engages in the hole.
To remove a socket, pull the
socket off the anvil.
OPERATING THE IMPACT WRENCH
Never tape the trigger switch down to provide continuous high speed. The
tool may fail under such conditions causing fire or personal injury.
Take care when working around a running engine. Run engine in open, well-
ventilated areas ONLY. Running an engine in an enclosed space will allow
build-up of carbon monoxide gas which can lead to dizziness, headaches,
vomiting or death.
Keep hair, clothing, cables or wires out of reach of moving parts while the
engine is running.

DIRECTION SWITCH
The Impact Wrench can move in two
directions: Forward “FWD” for tightening,
Reverse “REV” for loosening.
REMOVING LUG NUTS
Use 12 Volt DC power ONLY. Any other voltage will dam-
age the tool.
1. Park vehicle in a safe outside location
away from moving traffic. Always set
the vehicle parking brake and block the
wheels so the vehicle will not move
while impact wrench is in use. In some
cars, the ignition switch needs to be set
to "ON" to power the cigarette Lighter
outlet.
2. Plug the 12 Volt plug-in into the vehicle’s
12 Volt power supply. Verify that the
impact wrench LED light turns on.
This Impact Wrench does not work immediately like air-
operated or 120V wrenches. The tool must built up inertia before striking a
blow. This hesitation is normal and does not mean that the tool is broken.
3. Pick an impact socket that will fit the wheel lug nut. Press the socket onto the
anvil. NEVER use sockets that are not specifically designed for use with impact
wrenches.
4. Place a jack under the lift point for the wheel to be removed and raise the vehicle.
5. Support the vehicle by placing jack stands at locations recommended by the vehicle
manufacturer.
Do not get under the vehicle without jack stands. Jacks
are not designed to maintain heavy loads for long periods of time.
6. Set the Directional Lever to “REV” and carefully loosen the lug nuts. Remove in
the order recommended by the manufacturer.
7. If the Impact Wrench cannot loosen the lug nut, use a breaker bar (not included)
to break the nut loose before trying again.
8. Remove wheel.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR USE OF IMPACT WRENCH
To maintain the life of your Impact Wrench, it is recommended that you do not contin-
uously remove more than ten lug nuts. After ten lug nuts, let the Impact Wrench cool
down for approximately 10 minutes before attempting to remove additional lug nuts.
In general, after 10 minutes of operation, let the Impact Wrench cool down for approx-
imately 10 minutes before attempting to remove additional lug nuts.
REINSTALLING LUG NUTS
1. Lift wheel back into place.
2. Slide lug nuts onto the wheel bolts in the order recommended by the lug nut
manufacturer.
3. Hand tighten the lug nuts until securely fastened.
4. Do not tighten the lug nuts with the impact wrench. Excessive torque may cause
damage.
5. Use a torque wrench to check that the lug nuts are tightened enough per the man-
ufacturer’s recommendations.
6. Remove jack stands. Carefully lower vehicle and remove the jack. Unplug the
impact wrench and store.
CHANGING THE 12 VOLT FUSE
Always replace fuse with a 10A-250V fuse of the same style.
1. Turn and remove the plastic cap and pull out fuse.
2. Insert new fuse inside the case and reinstall the fuse cap.
