• Always disconnect the air impact wrench from the compressed air supply when the tool is not
in use. Disconnect it also before carrying out maintenance work or before replacing the tool
accessories (socket, etc.).
• Ensure that all connections and hoses are properly attached and in good working order. Loose
hoses can pose a serious risk of injury.
• Before using the air impact wrench and its accessories, inspect them carefully to ensure that
they are not damaged. Do not use them if you notice any damage.
• Only use sockets that are specifically designed for pneumatic impact wrenches.
• Keep your work area clean. Untidy work areas can be a leading cause for accidents. Ensure
good lighting when working with the device.
• Do not carry out any structural modifications or emergency repairs on the impact wrench. Use
it only for the purpose for which it was intended.
• Disconnect the impact wrench from the compressed air supply before carrying out any mainte-
nance or repair work.
• The maximum working pressure of 10 bar must not be exceeded.
• The working pressure must be set by means of a (filter) pressure regulator.
• Only use compressed air as the energy supply. Do not use gases.
• Do not operate the tool unloaded at idle speed. Risk of injury through ejected sockets.
• Never touch rotating parts.
• Only tighten bolts or nuts lightly (not firmly) with the impact wrench. Afterwards the bolts or nuts
need to be tightened with a torque wrench according to the torque specifications (of the object
you are working on).
• Do not use great force to loosen or tighten screws – Attention! In case you are working with
thinner materials (aluminium or similar) overtightening with the impact wrench may damage the
thread or the screw seat.
• Caution! When unscrewing screws or nuts, they remain in the socket. The sockets can be
thrown out. Risk of injury for you and other persons.
• Be careful! The high sound level when using the impact spanner can impair workplace com-
munication.
• Be careful! During operation, vibrations from the device are transferred to the operator. Always
work with work gloves.
• Be careful! During operation, dust and dirt particles can be blown up and oil and other liquids
can be released. Always wear safety goggles and a face shield.
• If there are any leaks or other malfunctions, immediately disconnect the unit from the com-
pressed air source and correct the malfunction.
