CARTON SPECIFICATIONS
Sample cartons must be ordered and approved before ordering production cartons to be sure that the
cartons fit properly. NO EXCEPTIONS! CARTON APPEARANCE IS VERY CRITICAL!
Single wall cartons are 3 ply – “B” or “C” flute
Double wall cartons are 5 ply – “B” and “C” flute
Carton layout with artwork must be approved by Matthews before ordering production cartons.
The closing flap of RSC – regular slotted containers – should be closed using adhesive – not staples – to
prevent damage to the product during shipment – NO STAPLES ALLOWED!
Notify Matthews of any dimension adjustments that must be made to the drawings on page 40.
Unless otherwise noted, Arbor cartons must be plastic corrugated and master pack cartons are paper
corrugated.
