C.Cuttingtreescanbehazardousandrequires
expertise.Donotusethechainsawtofelllargetrees

bar.

backtowardyou.Eitherofthesereactionsmaycauseyou
tolosecontrolofthesaw,whichcouldresultinaserious

maybreakthechain.Anovertightenedchainwilloverheat
theguidebarandchain,causingrapidwearandpossible
motorburnout.Also,checkthechaintensionafterafew
cuts.Anewchainusuallystretchesandrequiresadjustment
afteritsrstuse.
Thechaintensioniscorrectwhenyouareabletouseagloved
handtopullthechainsmoothlyaroundtheguidebar.The
chainshouldremainincontactwiththebottomedgeofthe
guidebar.
