Many 2004-06 Cadillac SRX vehicles may include XM, DVD, and

1. Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove the top A/C

vents panel (See Fig. 1

2. Open ash tray and remove the tray. Extract (1) 9/32" (7mm)

screw in tray cavity.

3. Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove A/C

Control/ash tray assembly below the radio (See Fig. 2

4. Remove (4) 10mm bolts securing radio to dash (See Fig. 3

5. Pull radio forward to reveal the connectors (See

or nearby panel where it will be mounted (within 4 ft.)

Mounting location may vary based on vehicle and

customer’s preference.

Warning! Should you decide to mount the jack, make sure panel

or surface is no thicker than 1/8”

protrude enough to engage the nut. (If necessary use a dremel or

sander to thin panel). Mounting the jack is not necessary for

operation, but doing so makes for a stock appearance and easier to

connect/disconnect audio device.

5. Use radio volume control button to set playback level.

6. When in the mood for XM (If you purchased the “Active

Subscription” cable), simply disconnected the 3.5mm cable from

Always disconnect audio device from the jack end of audio cable. In other

words, jack must be empty otherwise audio cable is prone to interference.
