Congratulations for selecting BLADEZ as your primary source of fitness. BLADEZ
treadmills offer many exercise programs that benefit users of all levels and ages.
Your new treadmill is designed to make your workouts more effective and enjoyable.
Please read this entire manual carefully before using your treadmill. This will
allow you to get a full understanding of all the features your BLADEZ’ treadmill
provides. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the BLADEZ

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using the treadmill.
Notice: Before using this or any other exercise equipment consult your family physician or
health care professional to develop a well planned exercise program to fit your health needs. If
you encounter any pain or breathing discomfort while working out, STOP!, and consult a
physician before continuing

1. It is wise to always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after use.
2. Keep Children away from machine while in use.
3. Do not wear loose or dangling clothing while using the treadmill
4. Keep a minimum clearance of 18” on each side and 24” at the rear of the treadmill for
safety.
5. It is mandatory that you unplug the treadmill prior to cleaning to reduce the risk of electric
shock, serious burns, and the risk of injuries.
6. The treadmill should never be left unattended when in operation. Unplug the treadmill from
the outlet when not in use or when servicing the treadmill.
7. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children, invalids,
disabled persons, or those with diminished capacity.
8. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Do not use any attachment not recommended by the manufacturer.
9. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working
properly. Call your service center for any service concerns before taking your treadmill in for
repair.
10. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
11. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
12. Do not use outdoors.
13. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
14. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet.
15. Connect this appliance to a properly grounded outlet only.
16. This appliance is intended for household use only.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be grounded. If it malfunctions or breaks down, grounding
provides a path of least resistance for electric currents, to reduce the risk of electric
shock. This product is equipped with a cord which has an equipment-grounding
conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate
outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.

– An improper connection of the equipment grounding conductor
can result in a risk of an electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician or
serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. Do
not modify the plug provided to you. If it does not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet
installed by a qualified electrician.
This product is for use on a nominal 110-120-volt circuit and has a grounding plug
that looks like the plug illustrated in the figure. Make sure that the product is
connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No adapter or
extension cord should be used with this product.

A minimum of two people are required to
assemble this treadmill. Also, READ and
understand ALL INSTRUCTIONS
thoroughly BEFORE ASSEMBLING the
treadmill.
1. Tie the attached black guide wire
bottom from the left (C) upright to
the main connector from the base
frame as shown.
2. Then pull the connector through the
left (C) upright from the top and
secure with an adhesive tape before
performing the next step.
3. Secure the left (C) and right (D)
uprights onto the treadmill base
with 2 (a) bolts to the front and 4
(c) bolts to the sides.
* Ensure that the wire is not pinched when
securing the upright
4. Snap 6 of the screw covers (f) onto
the bolt openings as shown.
5. Pull the main cable connector from
the left console tubing and connect
with the connector from the left (C)
upright.
6. Connect elevation and speed
control cables from the left (E) and
right (F) side handrails with the
connector from the computer
console’s mounting tubes as shown
in arrows.
7. Insert handrails (E, F) onto the
computer console’s mounting tubes.
* Ensure that the wire is not pinched
between the hand rail and the console

8. Rest the handrails on top of the
uprights. Secure them with 4 (b)
bolts.
9. Snap the rail covers (G, H) in
place and secure with 2 (e) bolts
on the bottom as shown.
10. Place water bottle holder (N)
against right (D) upright and
secure with 2 (d) screws.

GETTING STARTED
MOVING THE TREADMILL
The treadmill has wheels located at the front as part of the elevation assembly. Elevate
the treadmill up to 10% or greater then un plug. Next lift the rear of the treadmill and
push the treadmill using the front wheels.
SAFETY KEY & CLIP
Your Bladez treadmill is equipped with a safety key that will disable the treadmill if it is
not in place. You should attach the clip end to your clothing. The magnet end goes into
the recess of the console. If at any time you need to stop the treadmill quickly simply
pull the safety key off the console. This will cut all power to the treadmill and it will
come to a complete stop. To resume your workout, place the safety key back in place.
You will then need to program your workout again.
BEFORE STARTING
Straddle the running belt and stand on the plastic side rails. Insert the safety key and
attach the rope to your clothing. Do not stand on the walking belt while starting or
stopping the treadmill.
KEY FUNCTIONS
START – This key is used to begin any treadmill program or quick start.
MODE – This key is used to enter into the program mode. It is also used to
change the values on the display readout such as changing from
ELEVATION to PULSE.
STOP – This key is used to stop the treadmill at any time. Press the STOP
button and hold for 3 seconds and the treadmill will reset itself.
This key is used to change values during programming
It is also used to adjust the speed on the treadmill.
This key is used to adjust the elevation on the treadmill.

These keys are used to change values during program setup. It can
not be used to adjust the speed and elevation.
INSTANT SPEED/ELEVATION KEYS – You can change the speed or
elevation of the treadmill by pressing one of the Instant Key buttons. Each
key represents the assigned value in either Miles per hour (MPH) or percent
grade.
HANDRAIL CONTROLS –
The right handrail controls the speed of the treadmill and can be adjusted at
any time during your workout.
The left handrail controls the elevation of the treadmill and can be adjusted
at any time during your workout.
CONSOLE FEEDBACK
TIME – This will read the number of minutes left in the program that you
have selected. In Quick start it will read the number of minutes
that you have been exercising.
CALORIES – This reading is the amount of body heat in calories burned
during your workout. This is an estimated value.
ELEVATION/PULSE – Elevation will read as a percent of incline
Pulse will read in beats per minute. (BPM)
SPEED – This is how fast you are moving in terms of miles per hour. (MPH)
DISTANCE – Total distance traveled during your workout. This value is
displayed in miles.
USING HEART RATE
GRIP PULSE – To periodically check your heart rate, grab the sensors at the
base of the console. The PULSE LED will flash and after about 9 seconds
your pulse will be shown in the pulse window.

CHEST STRAP Using your chest strap, you can monitor your heart rate at
any time during your workout. The heart rate strap will send your heart rate
to the display and your pulse will be displayed. Transmitter is more
effective if worn while you are sweating.

WORKOUT PROGRAM DETAILS
Your BLADEZ treadmill will provide both manual controlled and factory
installed pre-set workout programs.
In MANUAL, you control the speed and/or elevation at your discretion.
For QUICK START exercise with Time setting, refer to Manual Program
In PRE-SET programs, the speed and/or elevation will change in accordance
with the program level selected and the program’s profile (as illustrated on
the following pages).
BF-635 HRP
MANUAL PROGRAM (P-01) SET UP
1. Press MODE key ~ Program level P-01 light will be flashing.
Note: If you just power up, please refer to QUICK START (steps 1 – 4)
2. Press ENTER key ~ Time will be flashing.

P-08 (HRC – Heart Rate Program) set up:
1. Press MODE key ~ Program level P-01 light will be flashing.

Custom programs will be stored in the system for easy retrieval unless
you go in and re-program the segments of the custom program.
Note: You can program up to 30 exercise level segments; however, you can
stop at any segment at your desire. The segment you end to segment 30 will
be run at default incline and speed of 0% and 0.5 MPH respectively.
However, you can edit the program at the segment you are currently on and
the built-in software will automatically adjust the rest of the programs
proportionally.
