HOW TO OPERATE
6
Ginnys.com 800-544-1590
Nes:
• Before making coee, use the coee maker once with water only
(without a lter). Dispose of water when nished.
• Only use cold water in the coee maker.
• Switch o the coee maker and let it cool down for about 5
minutes between brewings.
TO PREPARE COFFEE
1. Open the lter basket door and rmly put a standard #4 cone paper
lter in place. Add the desired amount of coee (about 3 level Tbsp. for
8 cups of coee—add more or less to achieve desired taste). Close the
lter basket door.
2. Fill the carafe to the 8-cup line with cold water.
3. Open the reservoir lid and pour the water into the coee maker reservoir.
4. Close the reservoir lid and put the carafe in place on the base.
5. Switch the coee maker ON. The indicator light will come on and the
coee will begin to brew.
6. This coee maker has an an-drip valve; while the coee is brewing,
you can remove the carafe to pour a cup. Dripping will stop when the
carafe is removed and start again aer the carafe is returned to posion.
To prevent overow from the lter, return the carafe to posion within
20 seconds.
7. Aer brewing, the coee maker will turn o automacally in 2 hours.
8. Turn OFF and unplug the coee maker when nished brewing coee.

4. DO NOT use abrasive brushes or pads, or harsh cleaning soluons.

and run a brewing cycle.
b. When done, turn the coee maker o and let it cool completely.
Dispose of used vinegar.
