WELCOME
Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the new Professional
Acoustic System SY-XTR56BT “Powergenics” Series. Please read this
manual carefully before operating your product and pay close attention
to the precautions which are mentioned below. Store this user manual
in a safe place for future reference
SAFETY INFORMATION AND WARNINGS
Symbol Definitions
DANGER- Indicates an imminently hazardous situation, which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury. This symbol appears
only in the most extreme situations.
WARNING - Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION- Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not
avoided, may result in minor/moderate injury or
product/property/damage. It also warns against unsafe practices.
Power source
This symbol means that this unit is double insulated. An earth
connection is not required.
The appliance must be connected to a 100-240V 50/60Hz. AC
supply by means of a two flat pin socket.
Unplug this apparatus during lightning, storms or when
unused for a long period of time to prevent damage to the
product.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an
equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of insulated ‘dangerous voltage’ within the
product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to
constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
Warning: to reduce the risk of electric shock do not remove
cover (or back), no user serviceable parts inside refer
servicing to qualified service personnel.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended
to alert the user to the presence of important operating and
maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature
accompanying the appliance.
To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, avoid overloading
wall outlets, extension cords, or Integral convenience
receptacles.
Use suitable power sources - Plug the product into a suitable
power source, as described in the operating
instructions or as marked on the product.
The supply voltage should be the same as that indicated in
the technical specifications and the appliance rating plate. If
the socket outlets in your home are not suitable for the plug
supplied with this unit check with a qualified electrician for
replacement.
In order to disconnect the apparatus from the mains
completely, switch off the outlet and remove the mains plug
completely.
Do not bend, stretch or pull the supply cable in order to avoid
electric shock.
When installed, the power socket must be within easy reach.
Moisture and water
Do not use this apparatus near water or moisture.
Do not use this product near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, laundry tub, wet basement, near a swimming pool or
anywhere else that water or moisture is present.
Heat sources and flames
Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sun
or fire.
To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, avoid overloading wall
outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles.
Servicing and repairs
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in
any ways: such as liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen
into the apparatus; The apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
Warning
The normal function of the product may be disturbed by strong
Electro-Magnetic Interference. If so, simply reset the product to
resume normal operation by following the instruction manual. In
case the function could not resume, please use the product in other
location.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1)
Read this Instruction Manual before you attempt to connect or
operate the appliance.
2)
Keep these instructions in good condition. Heed all warnings.
Follow all instructions.
3)
Save this Instruction Manual for future reference.
4)
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and
no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the
product. Use dry locations only.
5)
No naked flame source, such as candles, should be placed on the
product.
6)
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
7)
Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings.
8)
Ensure that the unit is plugged into an AC 100-240V 50/60Hz
power outlet. Using higher voltage may cause the unit to
malfunction or even fire catching. Turn off the unit before
unplugging it from power source to completely switch it off.
9)
Do not plug/ unplug the power plug into/from an electrical outlet
with wet hands.
10)
Use replacement parts, which are specified by the manufacturer.
11)
Install the unit in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
12)
Place the unit where there is good ventilation. Place the speaker
on a flat, hard and stable surface. Do not expose to temperatures
above 40°C. Allow at least 30 cm clearance from the rear and the
top of the unit as well as 5 cm from each side.
13)
Press the buttons of the unit gently. Pressing them too hard can
damage the unit.
14)
Always ensure that the product is unplugged from the electrical
outlet before moving or cleaning. Clean it with dry cloth only.
15)
Unplug the product during lightning, storms or when it will not be
used for long periods of time.
16)
This product has no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair this
product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform
the service. Contact Sytech technical service for a proper
inspection and repair
17)
NEVER let anyone, especially children, insert anything into the
holes, slots or any other openings in the unit’s casing as this could
result in a fatal electric shock.
18)
Don’t mount this product on a wall or ceiling.
19)
Do not place the unit near TVs, speakers and other objects that
generate strong magnetic fields.
20)
Do not leave the unit unattended when it is in use.
NOTE: To disconnect the system completely if it’s not to be used for a long
time, remove the AC adaptor plug from the wall outlet.
TOP PANEL
1. POWER SWITCH: Turn the power on/off.
2. PREVIOUS TRACK/VOL: Press this button to select the previous track.
Long press this button during 3 seconds to decrease the volume.
3. PLAY/PAUSE: Press this button to play or pause a track.
4. NEXT TRACK/VOL: Press this button to select the next track.
Long press this button during 3 seconds to Increase the volume.
5. MODE MP3/AUX/BT: Press this button to select the different modes and
switch between MP3 player, Aux input or Bluetooth.
6. USB/MICRO SD PORTS: Insert your USB or Micro SD card in this slot to
playback MP3 or WMA Files.
7. CHARGING CONNECTOR: Charging connector 9V-1.5A. Connect the
AC adaptor supplied to charge the battery of the speaker. Do not use any
other AC adaptor than the one supplied.
8. CHARGING INDICATOR LED: When the battery is low, the charging light
will turn red indicating that it needs to be charged. When the battery is
full, the charging light will turn green.
9. AUX INPUT: 3.5mm jack input. Allows to connect an external audio
device (e.g. CD/MP3/DVD player, hi-fi system, PC).
10. BASS: Adjust the Bass level of the speaker.
11. TREBLE: Adjust the Treble level of the speaker.
12. ECHO CONTROL: Adjust the intensity of the echo effect.
13. MIC VOLUME: Adjust the volume level of the microphone.
14. MIC INPUT: 6.3mm input jack connector for MIC.
15. MIC PRIORITY: Press the “MIC PRIORITY” button to activate the
automatic volume control when using the Mic. The music will automatically
lower down when using the Mic.
16. TWS: Press this button to connect to the other identical speaker.
17. EQ: Press the EQ button to select the different Equalizer modes: Pop,
Rock, Jazz, Classic, Normal. EQ modes will only operate under USB or
Micro SD card.
18. REPEAT: Press this button to Repeat the track.
19. LED lights: Press this button to turn on or off the LED lights.
20. VOLUME: Turn the knob to adjust the overall output level of the speaker.
REMOTE CONTROL
1. POWER: Press this button to turn the power on/off.
2. TRACK NUMBER: Press any numerical key to select a particular
track under USB or Micro SD card.
3. EQ: Press the EQ button to select the different Equalizer modes:
Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Normal. EQ modes will only operate under
USB or Micro SD card.
4. REP: Press this button to Repeat one track or all the tracks. While
playing a track, press “REP”" key on the remote control once to
repeat a single track. Press the “REP” button twice to repeat the
entire folder. Press a third time to resume normal playback.
5. : Press the “Previous” key to select the previous track under
USB/TF/BT mode and previous stored FM station in FM mode.
6. : Press the “Play/Pause button to play or pause a track under
USB/TF/BT mode. Long press the “Play/Pause” button for 2 or 3
seconds to start the automatic channel search under FM radio.
7. : Press the “Next” key to select the next track under USB/TF/BT
mode and next stored FM station in FM mode.
8. MODE: MP3/AUX/BT: Press this button to select the different modes
and switch between MP3 player, Aux input, or Bluetooth.
9. MUTE: Press this button to silence the sound.
10. FM SCAN: Press the “SCAN” key to start the auto search function
under FM radio mode.
11. VOL- : Press the VOL- button to decrease the volume level.
12. VOL+ : Press the VOL+ button to increase the volume level.
Charging the built-in battery:
1. Connect the supplied AC adaptor into the charging connector
located on the top control panel.
2. Connect the mains plug to a wall outlet.
3. The LED charging light will turn on Red or Green. In the case it is
red, this means the battery is charging. If in the case the LED light
turns green this means that the battery is fully charged.
4. Once the LED charging light turns green, the speaker can be
disconnected and can be used by the internal rechargeable battery.
5. You can transport the speaker to any place and enjoy your music
without the need to have the speaker plugged to any wall outlet.
Note:
While charging your speaker, make sure the unit is
Power off. This will speed up the charging process.
When charging the built-in battery for the first time,
make sure to charge it at least for 8 hours.
“IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO CHARGE THE
BATTERY REGULARLY IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE
BATTERY LIFE. FOR OPTIMAL BATTERY LIFE, THE
BATTERY SHOULD BE CHARGED AT LEAST ONCE A
MONTH. IF NOT CHARGED WITHIN 6 WEEKS, THE
BATTERY WILL LOSE ITS CAPACITY AND WILL DIE
OFF. UNDER THIS CIRCUMSTANCE, THE WARRANTY
OF THE BATTERY WILL NOT BE COVERED BY
SYTECH TECHNICAL CENTER. “
Turning on your speaker:
1. Press the “ ” button on the top control panel of the speaker to turn
on the unit.
2. The LED display will turn on indicating the current status mode.
3. You can also turn on the speaker from your remote control, simply by
pressing the “POWER” key.
Input modes:
Follow the below instructions to switch between Bluetooth, FM radio,
AUX and USB input modes.
1.
Press the “MODE” button (5) on the main unit or on the
remote control (8) repeatedly to cycle between Bluetooth,
FM radio, and AUX input modes.
TWS Function:
1.
Switch on the 2 speakers and press the “TWS” button (16) to
enter
the TWS mode on the 2 speakers.
2.
The LED display will show “BLUE” and will start to blink
indicating that the 2 speakers are in the process of pairing
between each other.
3.
Once the 2 speakers have paired between them, you will hear a
Beep sound indicating that the 2 speakers are now in TWS
mode. One of the speaker displays will indicate “BLUE” and the
second speaker will indicate “BLUE” in flashing mode.
4.
The main speaker now is the one which indicates “BLUE”
without flashing while the slave speaker will be the one which
indicates “BLUE” in a flashing mode.
5.
Connect your mobile device to Bluetooth and search for
SY-XTR56BT. Once found, click on it to pair your mobile to
your speakers.
6.
Playback your favorite tracks and enjoy True wireless sound.
AUX-in input:
Follow the steps below to connect an external audio source (Smart
phone, tablet) to playback your tracks from your Party speaker.
You will need a 3.5mm audio cable or a 3.5mm to RCA cable (not
supplied) to connect your external device to the AUX input socket.
1.
Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX socket
on top of the unit. Connect the other end to an earphone or line
out socket of the external audio device (Smart phone).
2.
Switch to AUX mode by pressing the MODE button on the main
unit or from the remote control repeatedly until AUX appears on
the LED display.
3.
Press “PLAY” on the external audio device.
4.
Adjust the volume to your desired level.
Note: When connecting via the headphone output, the volume of the
party speakers is affected by the volume control on the player. Ensure
that the audio source (such as MP3 player, smart phone) is set to 70-
80% volume to avoid distortion.
FM Radio operation:
1.
Press the MODE button on the main unit or from the remote
control to access to the FM Radio. The display will change to an
FM Frequency.
2.
Short press the “ ” button on the main unit or “Scan” on
the remote control to begin the auto scan process.
The unit
will save all the FM stations detected.
3.
Use the
and
buttons to cycle between the saved
station presets.
Note: The position of the party speaker is important for a good FM
reception. If you are unable to find a desired radio station, move the
party speaker to a different location and try to scan again.
Playback MP3 files from a USB:
Follow the steps below to connect a USB drive and playback MP3
files.
1.
Insert a compatible USB flash drive into the USB port (6) of
the speaker located on the top panel.
2.
The device will be automatically detected and the first track in
folder 01 or the root of the USB will start playback automatically.
3.
To pause playback, simply press the button on the main unit
or on the remote-control during playback. To resume playback,
press once more.
4.
To skip to the next or previous track, use the
or
buttons.
USB / MP3 information:
Do not remove the USB device during playback.
Maximum reading capacity is 64 GB.
Light effect” Gyro LED”:
1.
Press the LED button (19) on the speaker to turn on the Gyro
Led effect.
2.
Press the LED button on the speaker to alternate the different LED
patterns.
3.
The speaker includes 7 RGB light and 3 different patterns.
EQ Presets:
1. Press EQ button to select the different EQ presets. There are 5
Equalizer modes from which you can select: POP, ROCK, JAZZ,
CLASSIC, NORMAL.
Mic. Priority:
1.
To activate the Mic. Priority function, press the “MIC. Priority”
button on the speaker (15).
2.
This function will automatically decrease the volume level of
the music while the microphone is used.
Bluetooth connection:
To connect a smart phone or any other device to your speaker via
Bluetooth, follow the below steps:
1.
Press the “MODE” button on speaker until “Blue” appears on
the LED display of the speaker. The “Blue” display will start to
flash informing that there is no connected device.
2.
Enable the Bluetooth function on your smartphone, tablet or any
other Bluetooth device which you wish to connect to your speaker
and search for “SY-XTR56BT”. Once found, select it to pair your
external device to the speaker. The “Blue” on the LED display
will stop flashing once your device is paired to your speaker.
3.
In the case you are asked to enter a code, please enter “0000”
4.
Once the speaker is connected to your external Bluetooth device,
a sound will be heard confirming the pairing of the two devices.
5.
Each time you switch the Speaker on and select the Bluetooth
mode, the device will automatically pair and connect to the last
device, unless the device has been un-paired on your external
Bluetooth device.
6.
Once the devices are paired up, press the Play/Pause button to
start playback.
7.
When receiving a call during Bluetooth playback, the audio will
automatically stop playing. Once you hang up the call, the music
will restore.
8.
The volume output is affected by the volume level from the
external audio source: For example, if you have paired your
smartphone, you will need to adjust the volume level from your
smartphone to avoid distortion.
9.
To unpair the device from a Bluetooth connection, simply
disconnect the Bluetooth function from your device. The
speaker will revert automatically to search mode and will be
available for a new connection.
Functions and controls:
Once your speaker is connected to an external device via Bluetooth,
you can use the controls located on the top panel of the speaker or
from the remote control.
: Playback or pause the track.
: Skip to the next track.
: Skip to the previous track.
Volume control:
Rotate the volume knob clockwise on the top panel or press
VOL+ button on the remote control to increase the volume output.
Rotate the volume knob counterclockwise or press the VOL-
button on the remote control to decrease the volume output.
Mute function:
Press the MUTE button (9) on the remote control to silence the
audio playback.
Press once again to resume the audio output.
Troubleshooting:
