1. Remove all packaging from the product and remove the receptacle

lid by slightly bending the tray outwards. Remove all contents inside the

waste receptacle.

2. Line the receptacle with one of the enclosed liners and place the

waste receptacle underneath the tray so it holds itself in place.

3. Open the enclosed odor lter and slide it into the sleeve located on

the underside of the receptacle lid. Then install the receptacle lid

with the odor lter side down by inserting the tabs into the holes and

 slightlyexingthetray outwards as needed. Note that the odor lter will

immediately begin trapping odors once it is opened.

4. Install the enclosed handle onto the carriage assembly and screw in

until snug.

Note: the handle connection can

also be used with a standard

size broom handle (see image on

right). Do not leave the litter box

unattended when using a handle

other than the one provided. Do

not leave the broom handle

connected when you are not using

the broom handle.

5. Place the litter box in your home.

snugly against the back wall of the

litter box and the rake is directed

toward the waste receptacle.

getting started

1. To scoop the litter box, simply grab the handle while holding the

receptacle tab (for balance) and pull towards you and the waste

receptacle. The rake will automatically open the lid and place

clumps into the receptacle in one easy motion. If the carriage

assembly jams due to an oversize clump, gently rake back and

forth until the clump loosens.

Note: If using a standard size broom handle, place your foot on the

receptacle tab and pull the broom handle towards the waste

receptacle. As the carriage assembly approaches the receptacle lift

your foot to allow the receptacle lid to open.

2. After the rake pushes the clumps into the receptacle, simply push the

handle back through the litter and into the home position. Be sure the

rake rests against the back wall of the tray before the cat uses the litter

box again.

3. Addlitterasneededtomaintainllline.

4. For optimal use, rake at least once a day or more if you have multiple

cats. Replace odor lter as needed.

1. Lift the tray and remove the waste receptacle.

2. Grab the drawstrings on the liner and pull. Dispose of waste and

replace with a new liner.

maintenance

1. Remove the waste receptacle, receptacle lid and handle.

2. Slide the carriage assembly off of the tray.

3. Remove and dispose of all litter. Wash all parts with mild detergent

and water. Be sure to rinse thoroughly and dry completely before

adding fresh litter. It is important that all parts are completely dry

before reassembling.

4. To reassemble, be sure to align the wheels on the carriage assembly

with the tray rails to ensure the carriage assembly glides smoothly back

and forth.

workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will

be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater

value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty. This

warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required

to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and

conditions of this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use

on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service center.

Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as re, ood, hurricanes and tornadoes.

What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory

warranty or condition. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose is limited

in duration to the duration of the above warranty. JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise. JCS shall not

be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar

damages or loss of prots, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other party. Some provinces,

states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above

limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from province to province, state

to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
