leet
above
floor/ground
level
for
optimal
catch
rote
and
easy
access
for
cleaning

push
the
power
switch
to
the
'ON"
position

Clean

trap

cleaning,
remove
the
retaining
cage
and
remove
any
build
up
from
the
inside
of
the
retaining
cage

REPLACING
BULB
The
Light
bulb
life
expectancy
is
approximately
3,000
hours
(or
about
4
months),
and
should
be
replaced
regularly
to
ensure
optimal
UV
effectiveness
.
Even
though
the
bulb's
light
may
be
visible
to
you,
its
ability
to
attract
insects
diminishes
over
lime
.

Turn
power
switch
to
"off"
position
.
UNPLUG
UNIT,
and
allow
bulb
to
cool
before
replacing
.
2.
Remove
retaining
cage
and
separate
the
upper
body
by
removing
4
screws
(2
screws
on
the
bock
and
2
screws
inside
the
trap,
near
the
upper
port
of
the
fun).
3.
Carefully
turn
bulbs
counterclockwise
and
then
pull
bulb
stra
i
ght
out.
4.
Locate
and
insert
the
new
bulbs
into
sockets,
c
arefully
turn
clockwise,
and
make
sure
the
prongs
of
the
bulb
ore
seated
properly.
After
bulbs
hove
been
replaced,
re-attach
upper
body.

HOW
THE
DYNATRAP®
INSECT
TRAP
WORKS
Flying
insects
ore
attracted
lo
the
unit
by
the
UV
light
and
CO2
that
is
generated
by
the
photo-cotolysis
between
the
UV
lumps
and
the
special
TI02
cooling
.
The
fun
then
pulls
the
insects
into
the
screened
hose,
trapping
them
until
they
dehydrate
and
die.
The
hose
con
be
removed,
allowing
the
contents
lo
be
periodically
emptied
into
the
trash
.

coloquelo
entre
3 o 6
pies
sabre
el
nivel

suelo/piso,

eso
manero

atrapora
mas
y
tombien
sera
mas
facil
de
limpior.

Enchule
el
coble
o
un
receptaculo
exterior
o
coble
de
exterior
aprobado
por
UL,
tal
como
se
describe
en
"INSTRUCCIONES
IMPORTANTES
DE
SEGURIDAD".
Para
mejores
resultados,
deje

todo
el

prendida
excepto

se

LIMPIEZA
Umpieza
frecuenle
prolongara
la
vida

la

garantizara

prevencion

Umpie
la
unidad
por
lo
menas
una
vez
por
semana
.
2.
Apague
la
unidad
y
desenchufe
el
cable
antes
de
darle
limpieza.
3.
Para
una
limpieza
semanal,
retire
la
canasta
de
retencion
de
insectas
y
eliminar
cualquier
incrustaciones
desde
el
interior
de
la
canasta
de
retencion
y
ventilador
con
una
brocha.
REEMPLAZO
DEL
FOCO
La
vida
de
uso
de
las
locos
es
de
aproximadamente
3,000
horas
(o
cerca
de
4
meses),
y
deben
de
reemplazarse
despues
de
este
tiempo
para
mantener
la
elicacia
optima
de
la
luz
ultravioleta.
Aun
cuando
usted
vea
la
luz
de
las
locos,
su
capacidad
para
insectos
disminuye
con

tiempo.

Apague
la
unida
en
la
posicion
"off"
y

se

cambiarlas.

Retire
la
canasta
de
retencion
de
insectos
y
separar
la
parte
superior
de

trampa
removiendo
las

tornillas

del
ventilador)

Cuidadosamente
remueva
las

en
direccion
hacia

izquierda
y

retire
las
locos
directamente
hacia
afuera.

Localizar
e
inserte
las
locos
nuevas.

de
que

COMO
FUNCIONA
LA
TRAMPA
DE
INSECTOS
DYNATRAP®
Las
insectas
voladores
son
atraidas
a
la
unidad
por
media
de
la
luz
y
el
CO2
(dioxido
de
carbono)
que
es
generado
por
la
loto-catalisis
que
sucede
entre
la
capo
de
li02
(dioxido
de
litanio)
y
las
locos
uhravioletas;
luego
el
venttlador
los
succiona
hacia
una
camara
de
recoleccion
donde
quedan
atrapados
hasta
que
se
deshidratan
y
mueren
.
La
camara
de
recoleccion
puede
ser
removida,

esta
forma
se
pueden
periodicamente
vaciar
