IPC-POA100D User’s Guide
Thank you for purchasing the IPC-POA100D power supply unit for the IPC-DT/L40S(PC)T,
IPC-DT/H40X(PC)T.
The IPC-POA100D is the dedicated power supply unit for the IPC-DT/L40S(PC)T,
IPC-DT/H40X(PC)T CONTEC flat panel display. Since the IPC-DT/L40S(PC)T,
IPC-DT/H40X(PC)T is designed for +5VDC output, this power supply unit enables you to power the
display with AC power.

- Do not use the product in locations exposed to a flammable or corrosive gas since it may cause
explosion, fire, electrical shock, or malfunction.
- If you sense abnormality (smoke, odor, or noise), immediately unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet and contact Contec Product Information Center.
- To avoid electrocution do not use the product with a wet hand.
- Prevent foreign matters (such as metal pieces, combustibles, and liquids) from penetrating into the
product through ventilation holes, for example, to prevent a fire or electrical shock.
- Be sure to connect the product to the stipulated power supply voltage. Connecting to a different
voltage might cause a fire or electrical shock.
- Be sure to ground the product.
- Never disassemble or modify the product or replace its parts in order to prevent electrical shock,
fire, or malfunction. Contec reserves the right to refuse servicing the product modified by the user.
When any part of the product needs to be replaced at the expiration of its life or due to breakdown,
please contact the Contec sales representative or sales office.

- Use the product in the stipulated operating environment (temperature and humidity).
- When installing the product, be sure to disconnect the power cable.
- Do not use or store the product in a location exposed to extremely high or low temperature or
susceptible to a rapid temperature change.Example:
-Exposure to direct sun
-In the vicinity of a heat source
- To clean the product wipe it gently with soft cloth damp with either water or mild detergent. Do not
use chemicals or a volatile solvent, such as benzene and thinner, to prevent peeling or discoloration
of the paint.
- Avoid installation that blocks ventilation holes. Blocking contains heat inside the product causing it
to malfunction or break down.
- CONTEC is not liable for the product that has been modified by the user.
- When transporting the product, provide adequate measures to protect it from vibration or shock.

Installation Procedure
As shown in the illustration, fasten the power supply unit to the back of the flat panel display
(IPC-DT/L40S(PC)T, IPC-DT/H40X(PC)T) using the provided screws.
First be sure that the power switch on the power supply unit is set to off and then connect the power
supply unit cable to the connector at the bottom rear of the IPC-DT/L40S(PC)T, IPC-DT/H40X(PC)T.

Authorization to the distributor or the CONTEC group office, from
which it was purchased.

This warranty is not applicable for scratches or normal wear, but only for
the electronic circuitry and original boards. The warranty is not
applicable if the device has been tampered with or damaged through
abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or unreasonable use, or if the original
invoice is not included, in which case repairs will be considered beyond
the warranty policy.
How to Obtain Service
For replacement or repair, return the device freight prepaid, with a
copy of the original invoice. Please obtain a Return Merchandise
Authorization Number (RMA) from the CONTEC group office where
you purchased before returning any product.
*No product will be accepted by CONTEC group without the
RMA number.
Liability
The obligation of the warrantor is solely to repair or replace the product.
In no event will the warrantor be liable for any incidental or
consequential damages due to such defect or consequences that arise
from inexperienced usage, misuse, or malfunction of this device.
