When installing AmeriBath bathing modules, the following precautions should be taken to help
reduce chances of damage during installation.
• Make allowances to get unit in room.
• Always bring unit to plumb (level).
• Always have a framing member behind the anges.
• Always shim or grout under the base of the unit to assure positive contact with the oor.
• ALL BARRIER FREE UNITS MUST BE SET IN GROUT - (NON SHRINK TYPE)
• All 3/4” Barrier Free Units Must Be Stored On eir “Face-Plates” or “Backs. is
Prevents Units against “Bowed resholds” and “Crowned Drains.
• Keep the cardboard facing on the unit for protection as long as possible during construction
• Place a piece of cardboard or carpet in the unit when standing inside to prevent damage
(Shipping face pack works well). Scratched, Scued or Chipped Bottoms are considered
“Jobsite Damage.
• Do not store materials in the unit during construction.
• During clean up, use a mild non-abrasive cleaning agent. Do not use acetone or lacquer
thinner since they may harm the acrylic nish. e following cleaners may be used:
1. Ivory Liquid, Dawn or other liquid dishwashing detergent.
2. Vinegar and water mixture (50/50 ratio).
3. Alcohol, Denatured Alcohol or Mineral Spirits may be used.
e foregoing requirements have been supplied for you as typical guidelines to follow. Any
installation other than these should have the approval of the AmeriBath Company, Inc.
Any other type of installation MAY VOID MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY.

1.) Place unit into alcove and onto grout bed.
2.) Check unit for level and plumb while continually working unit into grout bed.
3.) Place a 2x4 (7” long) on the bottom of the unit. Be sure to place a towel or cardboard between unit
and wood so as not to scratch acrylic.
4.) Place a brace between the 7” long piece of 2x4 and a ceiling member. is will assure positive contact
with the oor while also placing the drain sump in its proper postion.
5.) Inspect Unit for High Spots In Bottom (Adjust Brace If Needed).
6.) Secure unit to framing members. Wait until grout has cured before anchoring the back and top side
wall nailing anges.
7.) Leave Brace In Place Overnight To Allow Grout To Cure.
8.) Remove Brace.

RESIDENTIAL LIMITED LIFETIME AND
COMMERCIAL LIMITED TEN (10) YEAR PRODUCT WARRANTY
Shower Shell, Frame, Finish-Limited Warranty: Subject to the terms and conditions herein AmeriBath warrants
to you, the original purchaser, that your AmeriBath shower shell, aluminum frame, and nish will not crack,
delaminate, or blister for a period of ten (10) years when used in commercial applications or for the lifetime of
the original purchaser when used in residential applications, from the date of purchase subject to the exceptions,
limitations, disclaimers, and other terms and conditions contained in this document.
Other components of your AmeriBath Shower may be covered by warranties provided by the manufacturers
of those components, which will be provided to you. You should review these third-party warranties closely to
determine your rights.
How to Obtain Warranty Service: To submit a claim, mail or fax a copy of the original dated bill of sale along
with a description of your claim to AmeriBath at 609 Swan Ave., Hohenwald, Tn. 38462, fax 931-796-2318.
Claims must be submitted within 5 business days aer discovery of the claimed defect and within the applicable
warranty period. Upon receipt of a claim, an appointment will be scheduled within a reasonable period of time
aer having received the claim to inspect your warranty claim. If aer inspection, it is determined that a valid
claim exists under one or more of the warranties, the defective product or component will be repaired, re-in-
stalled, replaced, or a refund of the purchase price shall be paid. If AmeriBath determines to replace your prod-
uct or component and if the product or component as originally installed is no longer available, AmeriBath or its
designated representative shall have the right to substitute a product or component designated by AmeriBath or
its designated representative to be of equal quality. Replacement of your product or component does not renew
the warranty period. If, at AmeriBaths option, a purchase price refund is conveyed to you, then all warranties are
terminated, and repair, replacement, or removal of your AmeriBath shower shall become your sole responsibili-
ty.
What Is Not Covered: All warranties terminate immediately upon the transfer of home ownership. All warran-
ties assume normal and reasonable use of your AmeriBath. ese warranties do not cover any other damage,
workmanship, or material failure including, but not limited to, damage caused by occurrences beyond the con-
trol of AmeriBath, such as settlement of the building, failure of the structure (including foundations and walls),
use of incompatible accessories, corrosive eects of chemical pollutants, normal fading, re, weather of cata-
strophic nature as dened by the U.S. National Weather Service, other acts of God, intentional acts, and
or unreasonable use or failure to provide reasonable maintenance. is warranty is not transferable.
Remedies and Rights: ese warranties are the only express warranties provided. No person has authority to
assume or incur any obligation, liability, or responsibility in place of or in addition to these warranties.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE BE LONGER THAN THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES HEREIN. EX-
CEPT FOR THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN, NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED,
OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF NONINFRINGE MENT,
MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS BEING MADE. SOME STATES DO
NOT PERMIT ANY LIMITATION ON THE LENGTH OF AN IMPLIED WARRANTY, AND THEREFORE
THE IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING SENTENCE MAY NOT APPLY. LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY
IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CONSUMER PURCHASER AT

THE TIME OF PURCHASE. IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE OBLIGATED OR LIABLE FOR INCI-
