Option Two
3. Connect the Radio Receiver Interface Directly into your Remote
Control Technology Receiver.
The Radio Receiver Interface provides power to your Radio Receiver.
You can now use your Radio to turn your irrigation stations on and off.

Connection instructions
1. Connect the DB9 serial cable to the controller's serial connection.
2. Connect other end to the Radio Receiver Interface.
Option One
3. Connect the DB37 serial cable to the Radio Receiver's 37 pin serial
connection.
4. Connect the other end of the DB37 serial cable to your Remote
Control Technology Receiver.

Overview
Acclima's Radio Receiver Interface enables connection of the Acclima
controller to a Remote Control Technology radio. Once connected the
Acclima controller can be operated remotely by the use of the radio.
The Radio Receiver
enables remote control of your CS3500 Water on
Demand™ controller. The receiver interfaces with the TRC Commander and
Sidekick radios.
Today's turf managers rely more than ever on remote control capability to better
manage irrigation. Remote Control Technology's lines of radios provide a solid
tool to remotely access and control a system's irrigation functions. Acclima's
Radio interface allows the use of industry standard remote controller equipment
to operate the Acclima CS3500 controller.
Compatibility
The Radio Receiver is compatible with the Acclima CS3500 controller and the
following Remote Control Technology Radios:

The Sidekick™ FM System
·
TRC Commander 24-Station System
·
TRC Commander 32-Station System
Controls
The Receiver enables remote control of the irrigation controller. Control
features vary depending on the radio used to controller the system.

Radio Receiver Interface Components
The Acclima Radio Receiver Interface included the following parts:
1. Radio Receiver Interface
2. DB9 3' M/F Serial Cable (Included)
This cable is required to connect the Radio Receiver Interface to the
controller cabinet's serial connection.
NOTE: The DB9 serial cable cannot exceed 3' in length.

3. Optional DB37 3' M/F Serial Cable (Included)
Used to connect the Radio Receiver Interface to the Radio Receiver's
serial connection (Optional).
