IMPORTANT
1) Most Pocket Wizards cannot transmit/receive a signal underwater.
Thus, the Pocket Wizard housing must oat at the surface to work properly.
2) AquaTech Sport Housings cannot accommodate the PC Sync
cable as shipped and
thus will require custom wiring by AquaTech.
To re the camera remotely, you should
not require rewiring if your housing has a cable release hardwired inside.
Please contact us with any questions.
3) If you are having trouble tting the antenna through the gland, use the grease from your
housing kit (or any silicone based grease) to lubricate
OVERVIEW
The AquaTech Flash Housing allows you to use your professional Canon or Nikon ash in and
around the water. These housings have been control tested and water tested down to a depth
of 10m (30 feet). Full controls of the ash on the backplate enable you to change settings
while in the water.
FEATURES
Flash Housing – clear housing that protects your ash
Flash Clips – used to secure the Flash Housing’s backplate
Piston Style O-ring – seals on the side wall of the backplate
Flash Hot Shoe – an electrical connector that secures the ash inside the Housing
Flash Mount – a mount that attaches to your Sport Housing using 2 screws
Flash Bulkhead – a bulkhead that connects your Flash Hot Shoe to the Sync Cord
Sync Cord – a waterproof cable that connects the Flash Bulkheads on your Sport Housing
and Flash Housing. Includes caps for both ends.
Camera Hot Shoe cable – this cable connects to the inside of your Sport Housing’s Flash
Bulkhead. It then plugs into the top of your camera on the hot shoe.
Release Tool – a small plastic key with a metal rod. It is used to help remove the backplate
off of the Flash Housing. The metal rod is inserted into holes on the ash housing and the
piece turns to gain leverage to push off backplate.

IMPORTANT
1) The Flash Bulkhead on both your Sport Housing and Flash Housing comes with a black cap.
It is important that, when not in use, this black cap be tightened firmly. Without this, the
system is not waterproof.
2) Take care with the Camera Hot Shoe and the connection to the Flash Bulkhead – it is fragile.
