Cooking Tips
When food coes to boil reduce the teperature seng.
Using a lid will reduce cooking es and save energy by retaining the heat.
inise theount of liuid or fat to reduce cooking es.
Start cooking on a high teperature seng and reduce the seng when the food has heated
through.
Simmering, cooking rice
Siring occurs below boiling point at around 85C when bubbles are just rising occasionally
to the surface of the cooking liuid. It is the key to delicious soups and tender stews because
theours develop without overcooking the food. You should also cook eggbased and
ourthickened sauces below boiling point.
Searing steak
To cook juicoursoe steaks:
1. Stand theeat at rooeperature for abouinutes before cooking.
2. Heat up a heavybased frying pan.
 Brush both sides of the steak with oil. Drilellount of oil into the hot pan and then
lower the eat onto the hot pan.
4. Turn the steak only once during cooking. The eact cooking e will depend on the thickness of
the steak and how cooked you want it. Tiesy vary froout 2 – nutes per side. Press
the steak to gauge how cooked it is – therer it feels theore ‘well done’ it will be.
5. Leave the steak to rest on a warplate for a fewnutes to allow it to rela and becoe
tender before serving.
13
For sr-frying
1. Choose an inducon copablebased wok or a large frying pan.
2. Have all the ingredients and eipent ready. Srfrying should be uick. If cooking large
an cook the food in several sler batches.
 Preheat the pan briend add two tablespoons of oil.
4. Cook antrsthen put it aside and keep w
5. Srfry the vegetables. When they are hot but sll crisp turn the cooking ne to a lower
seng return theeat to the pan and add your sauce.
6. Sr the ingredients gently toke sure they are heated through.
7. Serveediately.
Heat Sengs
The sengs below are guidelines only. The eact seng will depend on several factors including
your cookware and theount you are cooking. Eperient with the inducon hob tond the
sengs that are best suitable for you.

Reove these iediately with a sh
slice palee knife or or blade
scraper suitable for Inducon glass
cooktops but beware of hot cooking
e surfaces:
1. Switch the power to the cooktop 
at the wall.
2. Hold the blade or utensil at a 
angle and scrape the soiling or spill
to a cool area of the cooktop.
Clean the soiling or spill up with a
dish cloth or paper towel.
4. Follow steps 2 to 4 for ‘Everyday

Cut out the work surface according to the sies shown in the drawing.
For the purpose of installaon and use a iniuo space shall be preserved
around the hole.
Be sure the thickness of the work surface is at least 4050. Please select
heatresistant work surfaceerial to avoid larger defoon caused by the heat
radiaon frohe hotplate.
When installing the hob over drawers a boardust be installed 1nderneath the
hob. The boardust beade of suitable heat resistanerials.
Cauons
1. The inducon hotplateust be installed by alied personnel or technicians. Never conduct
the installaon by yourself.
2. The hobust not be installed directly above a dishwashefridge freeewashingchine or
