• Explain the onboard rules and required behaviour and the potential risks of a marine trip to
all those accompanying you;
• Avoid overloading the boat; leave everything unnecessary on the shore;
• A functioning life jacket must be worn at all times when the boat is in operation;
• People and items must be placed so that the overall centre of gravity is balanced in the boat,
and as low as possible;
• The motor must not be started if it’s not in neutral;
• Be careful while in the boat, especially when moving;
• Manoeuvre the boat smoothly and choose the speed according to the conditions; sharp turns
may cause the boat to heel dangerously and it may lose control;
• Avoid the winds and waves of high seas;
• Keep the boat empty of water;
• When landing, avoid hitting the shore with the bow or board of the boat and braking the boat
with a hand or a foot;
• Keep the marine environment clean;
• Never use the boat when intoxicated with alcohol or drugs;
• Keep in mind that the skipper bears sole responsibility for everyone.
MAINTENANCE
This boat is relatively easily to maintain, but it must be done regularly.
Keep the boat clean inside and out. Wash the bottom of the boat from time to time. A soiled
and overgrown bottom limits the speed of the boat and increase the fuel consumption.
Clean the boat surfaces with freshwater and, if necessary, ordinary cleaning agents free of
abrasive substances. Never use acetone, nitro solvents or metal tools for cleaning the boat.
Avoid scratching the boat. For this, handle the boat with care when launching and in
everyday operation. Tie all anchoring and mooring lines in a reliable and durable manner.
Scratches, cracks and splits in the plastic surface will reduce the life expectancy of the boat,
so these should be repaired as soon as possible.
You can turn to the manufacturer of the boat for major repairs.
Make sure the warning signs on the boat are preserved and legible.
When leaving, take along all loose items and lock down the boat.
When storing the boat on shore, choose the supporting surfaces so that the boat will not
become deformed. Open the drain to remove all water.
When transporting, fasten the boat carefully to the trailer or truck. The fasteners must not
abrade against the boat, stretch loose during the journey or open by themselves. Fasten down
all loose items in the boat. The motor must be fixed to the transport position on the transom
while transporting the boat.
When towing the boat, do not exceed the normal operating speed of the boat.
For placing the boat into winter storage, clean and wash the boat inside and out, choose a
suitable slipway, boat shed or shelter, and store the boat on even keel, in a uniformly
supported position excluding any crushing, or bottom-up.
Cover the boat with an opaque tarpaulin or plastic foil.
Water must not collect into the boat.
EMERGENCIES
Respect the rules of fire safety.
In case of a smell of gasoline in the boat, check the fuel line and valves.
Do not smoke when refuelling.
Keep flammable materials in a separate box.
In case of a localised fire, use a handheld extinguisher.
Turn the boat against the wind.
In case of uncontrollable fire, give emergency signals.
