OKI FAX 5800 is a high-volume, high-productivity, and highly upgradable fax solution designed for users in high-volume, high-traffic environments. It offers a range of features to handle the telecommunications demands of large groups or whole departments, allowing users to perform their tasks with speed and efficiency.

With multi-access functionality, users can receive a fax into memory, send another, and print out a third fax simultaneously. The optional dual line with a 33.6 Kbps modem enables users to transmit and receive faxes at the same time, saving time and money.

The standard 78-page document memory can be expanded to as much as 558 pages for massive document storage, memory transmission, and out-of-paper reception. The 650-sheet standard paper capacity can print out all the pages in the upgraded memory before the need to refill.

automatic document feeder; the latter

bills, especially if users take advantage
of the Delayed Transmission timers
to fax automatically after hours, when
phone rates are lower.
As a “hub” unit, it can receive
a fax from another OKIFAX 5800 and
automatically and cost-effectively
relay it to all of the 209 locations you
put into its directory.
Up to 200 frequently-called fax
numbers can be set up as “speed dials”
— 1-touch or 2 — and the directory
is arranged like a phone book, so you
can find the number you want easily
and quickly. Twelve programmable
keys let users carry out multi-step fax
commands with a single touch.
The OKIFAX 5800 can also serve
as a convenience copier, turning out
300 x 300 dpi copies — up to 99 from
the same original.
