course packs, and other projects that use a mix of paper
types, tabbed inserts, and different types of binding.
The server’s ultra-fast dual processors can RIP one job while
another is printing. Its extensive suite of advanced job sub-
mission and management tools can streamline every step
of the process. The J200 Server is also equipped with EFI’s
renowned Compose software, which allows a user to expedi-
ently set up complex jobs with tabs, paper substitutions, and
color inserts. Another standard software utility is EFI’s Impose
for imposition needs. Impose allows operators to maximize
a sheet of paper by laying out multiple images for printing.

is the command center for
submitting and managing print jobs. With the user-intuitive
job management queue, it’s simple to select a job for
submission. In addition, features such as Rush Printing
allow the operator to interrupt a job that’s printing in order
to print a job with a higher priority. As soon as the high-
priority job is finished, the previous job automatically
resumes. With the Advanced Job Reorder feature, an
operator may prioritize the order in which jobs are printed
to get priority jobs out the door. Lastly, with the Suspend-on-
Mismatch features, you’ll never have to worry about printing
a job on the wrong media and wasting precious resources.
If the wrong media is in the digital press, Command
WorkStation will communicate an error and stop the
job from printing.
reduCe Costs through WorKfloW autoMation
The J200 Server maximizes productivity and profitability by
helping minimize redundant tasks and communication errors
between clients and production staff. Virtual printing workflows
for impositions, booklets, and presentations eliminate the
need to start from scratch in setting up similar types of jobs.

automatic job assembly. Jobs can be submitted to the
server electronically from networked clients through USB
devices (thumb drives, external hard drives, or CD drives) or
FTP sites. Clients can track the status of each job remotely
