Background:
Nortel is pleased to announce the general availability of the Nortel SIP Firmware Maintenance Release 2.2.21 for the IP
Phone 1120E and IP Phone 1140E effective as of October 1st, 2009 for Nortel Communication Server CS1000 Release
6.0, MCS5100 Release 3.5/4.0, AS5200 Release 6, AS5200 Release 7 SP1 and for third-party BroadSoft BroadWorks
Server Release 14 SP4.
SIP Firmware Maintenance Release 2.2.21 for IP Phone 1120E and 1140E delivers several minor enhancements as well
as a number of fixes.

Recommendations:
Nortel recommends an upgrade to this release of firmware for all applicable IP Phones and Call Servers at the earliest
convenience. This release is being provided as a no charge update to all customers.
